  • From a neutral perspective, I have to say that the all blacks haka is a thousand times more intimidating and it is mainly due to the pads, but there is nothing the team can do about that

  • As much as I respect AF, I still think any pacific/maori war dance should be performed without

    the padding.

  • still like the Hawaiian haka though

  • face the true haka and see's who more better LOL.!!!

  • They can hoot and holler all day long, doesn't make a damn when you get embarrassed on the field year after year.

  • Mean Hawaii Mean, go hard with ur ha'a - just like the haka it is awesomely mean, chur bradas!!

  • gotta step on the voice yo!!

  • watch?v=iOOobigCB4A

  • maybe if they spent more time practicing football instead of the haka (or ha'a), they would actually be pretty decent.

  • is it the haka?

    is it the ha'a?

or is it the haha? lol jk

  • chur hawaiian cuzzins. rep it

  • MEAN MY HAWAIIAN BROS YOU GO HARD WITH YOUR KAUPAPA,THE MAORI ARE THE SAME AS YOU & MANY MORE OF THE PEOPLE OF THE PACIFIC

  • man the war dance is a rugby thing

  • @randomdude1426 It's an islander thing, not rugby's.

  • man only the most ignorant retards go around to video's like this just to say something as to trash talk this, the video title doesn't say all black haka, so get the fuck on to one that does if that's what you want to see, and y'all maori need to stop acting like y'all invented war dances and everyone else in the pacific is imitating maori culture, i know you guys aren't truly stupid enough to really believe that right, Samoans, Tongans, Hawaiians, all just copying yall #SeriouslyGrowTheFuckUp

  • the team of 20 troy polamalu's

  • Wow really ? lol watch these --->/watch?v=Ofj3dCKyI38&feature=related /watch?v=uHW1K2LeQXE&feature=related now these are real hakas

  • Kapo O Pango of the All Blacks owns this anyday.

  • @jaydc187 nah the timatanga will own this one

  • @1980BirdDawg points shaving?

  • FOUND MYSELF PRESSING THE LIKE BUTTON AS SOON AS IT CAME ON <3

  • nicee HULA boyz I would be so scared to play against yous after watchin this hula

  • never get tired of this

  • I spent my childhood in Honolulu. I used to go to UH football and baseball games. Hula dances were a part of my elementary school curriculum. Seeing this takes me back and I can really feel in in my bones. Makes me want to get in there and do it with them.

  • Funny to read all the negatives on here. Good to know that the ways of our Polynesian ancestors are being kept from Hawai'i in the north to Aotearoa in the south. Can't blame all the ignorant rants being posted on here because them posters don't our ways and traditions so I'll just leave it at that. Choice haka (ha'a) and keep it strong as we sons of Maui only know how.

  • Polamalu clones

  • Pathetic. I bet they all suck each other off in the showers as well.

  • do a fucking sipi tau not a haka

  • Wow!

    A Klingon Team!

And they are actually speaking gay Klingon!

  • im going to search for HAKA CHESS

  • Cool. I like that: tradition and spirit in one entertaining bundle.

  • #39 Watson thats our new high school football coach took our Nanakuli Hawks to the playoffs. What a great battle that last game was it was exciting to be there . Good job coach Watson..

Good job Hawks WE GETEM NEXT YEAR....

  • PEOPLE. You cannot play AF without pads. no one woke up one day and decided to wear pads cause hitting hurt. AF is played at extremely high velocity and force. rugby is more form tackling. plus, theres no blocking AT ALL in rugby. football, more contact, more padding. simple,

  • Dig this but I enjoyed the All Black Haka version they used to do. Speaking about the All Blacks, didn't they just win the Rugby World Cup?

  • The New Zeland rugby team does it way better and look more intimating.

  • go Hawaii football have respect

  • ....Clowns

  • ooohhh shit....

  • look at all padding, harden up

  • @biggsy78 you can't play football at this level without pads. you will die. that is not an exaggeration. tackling is more high impact and done at greater speeds.

  • @upnunder44 you wouldnt die you idiot. You would just learn to tackle properly, and not blindside people with a helmet hit

  • this shit is gay watch a real haka like a NZ haka

  • @aac202173 This isn't a Haka, it's a Ha'a. The lyrics and the movements are entirely hawai'ian. This is all them, sure it's inspired by the Haka, but they created this specifically for the University of Hawai'i.

  • @ZenPsyko -- Thanks so much for pointing this out -- whenever I see a post labeled "Hawaiian Haka" I try to educate people about the fact that Hawai`ian teams have a rich legacy of war chants all their own and don't need to use Maori haka to get the point across :-)

  • hahahaha the pass and shoot offense or whatever its called is way pussy. its like they are warming up for a soccer game.

  • All blacks are still the best.

  • King Kamehameha the great who unified the Hawaiian islands was a Samoan man. Although he didnt invent the haka, watching it here gave me a sense of how ferocious and valid he was. Thank you Samoa for sending your pupils to play for us, because without them the University of hawaii would be just like those Hawaiians who got shoved off the Pali... ALOHA Eh, no forget to omi the thumbs up, K? k.

  • @KealanuiOkeAkua he wasnt fuckin samoan

  • @808mauna LOL Brahdah, das what they said about Vince Manuwai, but look what wen happen... he one Samoan guy too ha? Da King was from da Island of Sava'i who landed on Lapakahi along the Kohala coast of the Big Island. I know it hurts, but das da truth. Go do some research, because the truth going set you free.

  • disgrace to the true haka clan's out there goddammit !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @123MRwolfe this isnt the haka, its an kanaka maoli chant of strength

  • if your gonna do the haka don't make up up version's for the haka dammit disrespectful to the true haka people from New-Zealand!!!!!!!!

  • ...

  • Bad Romance version HAKA

  • looks like theyre trying to rap

  • the gayest haka ever, makes me laugh!

  • rugby does it better

  • Mad respect to the haka. and number 10, im scared of you

  • Number 93 learned it 2 nights before while drunk and now looks around like "am I doinnit right?"

  • Dunno, looks like flat lager vs what NZ, Somoa, or Cook Island get up to..

  • Good on the Hawaiian team for embracing their culture in this way

  • it was soo amazing seeing this live ^_^

  • They're purty, but can they fight?

  • IT DOESN'T LOOK GREAT ON AMERICAN FOOTBALL! HAKA DOES LOOKS COOL ONLY ON RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION PERIOD!! BESIDES IT'S A TRADITION PERFORMANCE OF NEW ZEALAND( AND MOST PACIFIC ISLANDERS) RUGBY TEAM BEFORE THEY'LL PLAY.

  • @p5rsiapino1 Really??? You believe its better to watch a group of white guy rugby players perform the haka rather than people of Polynesian/Pacific Island descent?

    Interesting concept.

  • IT DOESN'T LOOK GREAT ON AMERICAN FOOTBALL! HAKA DOES LOOKS COOL ONLY ON RUGBY FOOTBALL UNION PERIOD!!

  • my son will be in that position in 18 yrs from now!!

  • Is there any place i can find the lyrics im doing a flash mob so i need the lyrics thanks

  • They look like KISS rejects

  • @mcmillspiece Truth hurts. You know it. I know it. Your'e right about the 'game' being a microcosm. But military strategy?. If it were American military strategy - players and fans and passers by would be in hospital. Its a microcosm of the American way. Create an enemy, create a conflict, create a show and make as much money as you can. Because that's all that matters. Not people. money. It matters not, and I almost care.

  • @morklind sounds like someones angry his home country isnt even top 3 in the world in their top 2 sports...id be pissed too

  • i like dis ha'a much more

  • Who are these girls with long hair, tight pants and padding on??

  • @TheKelsiton: they are doing an reenactment of ya'mom!

other than that, i bet if you said this in any of these guys face you'll get won mean false crack!

  • @TheKelsiton i dont get your question

  • wai 'awa'awa look up this hawaiian emmersion high school. There small, so they have to work harder (Pono hana).

First step, take back the language. Next take back our land!! Americans dont know how to take care, they dont deserve it!!!!!!!!! E 'a Ho'iho'i E!!!!

  • ..... its not as intimidating, but its about more than the oli (chant), its about saving a nation, and a language!! And by the way, Hawai'i isn't leagaly Americas!!! Wheres the treaty. Thats called stealing!!! oh by the way, Although we are all polynisians, we are Hawai'ian, not Maori!!! Still Aloha Nui to my cousins across the pacific!!!

  • @MaoliOlaEoMai are u an actual native hawaiian, like not those wannabe hawaiians.but what you talkin about were you typed "although were polynesians,we are hawaiian, not maori."

  • @sillau9 the haka is from aotearoa (new zealand) the home of the maori people. all polynesians are from a common thread, but we all have our own identity as a nation, and a culture. Kanaka Maoli (Hawaiians) just wanna use ther own things. we do have our own oli (chants). check out wai 'awa'awa trailer!!

  • @sillau9 E kala mai (sorry) 808misfit was me. I was signed in under my neices name. so comment me not her.

  • ..... its not as intimidating, but its about more than the oli (chant), its about saving a nation, and a language!! And by the way, Hawai'i isn't leagaly bound to America!!! Wheres the treaty. Thats called stealing!!!

  • 1st off, its not the NCAA that wanted to change it, it was pressure from the Na poe Maoli o ka Aina (true people of the land which feeds) that got it changed. That is in response to the decline in the Hawaiian identity. When the missionairies came, they did anything they could to suppress the language, the chants, and our way of life. Including the tattooing of our grandparents toungs with scripture. There is a high school perpetuating the culture with an old chant we managed to save.

  • @mcmillspiece ..whatever you say. My point still applies. This adrenalin pumped so called 'game' preys on the polluting "america kicks ass" syndrome and was deliberately created for channel switching, beer swilling TV consumption and turning those poor sacks that turn up at games into heart attacks waiting to happen i.e lets bleed those motherfucking saps of all their money. American football is a contrived spectacle - Rugby is a proper game for all. Ask someone who plays it.

  • /watch?v=_tXvQ1aHeNk

  • @mcmillspiece I am sorry but you know not of what you are talking. No head on tackling in rugby? Your argument borders on laziness. Youtube "rugby hits" and watch. Same rules apply = anything goes except head high tackles. Bones, necks have all been broken. Difference? Rugby is REAL MEN. Not jacked up steroid lumps catching their breath between each play. The game stops for no man. If you’re not springing back up and shaking it off after a few minutes, your are rolled off for a sub.

  • lololol take off the pads before you try to look intimidating

  • I bet this team is fucking crazy.

  • Did they do this before the sugar bowl? How'd that work out for them?

  • Speaking as an Englishman it kind of looks funny when you compare it to the fearsome Haka .. I mean what are these girls wearing for chrissake!

  • Haka belongs to the Maori's. Glad the NCAA stop it. Now this, HA'A. Copy cats...

  • SICK!!

  • Haole's know NOTHING of our culture.

  • is that how you get warmed up to throw the ball 72 times and avoid contact?

  • Comment removed

  • @codyswftc dont hate

  • Wow i didnt know Hawaiians had a warrior war dance?

    @Melody96732 - get a life

  • THIS SHIT MAKES ME WANNA PUNCH SOMEBODY IN THE FUCKIN MOUTH!!! THIS IS THE COOLEST SHIT EVER!!!! :D

  • @4thletta i know its like come on who wants some but u should watch the Rugby Hakas Mental!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i thought it was stupid that the ncaa made them stop doing the haka. it looks cool, and it gets them ready to play. fsu, where i went to school, has the warchant. noone has made us stop.

  • it would be nice if the hawaiian people which im part to have been given a choice to become part of the us maybe one island samoa has 2 parts cool but living and being born here on the main land and growing up in the southwest i see how the haoles came and fucked up the red mans land and his people its sad they come to native land and take then move west and take then go to the pacific and take they must stop let us live live our people did yrs ago

  • is it me or is my comment the shortest one here....

  • @aj2017 No, mine is.

  • @melody96732 You're probably white

  • Comment removed

  • @melody96732 yea..you're definitely white

  • @MoBizzle579 &yess i did just get offended! so how dare you call me white when you dont even know what the fuck i am! you stupid white muthafucka! let me say this loud and clear again!! WHITE PEOPLE THAT COME TO LIVE IN THE ISLANDS MUST HAVE RESPECT&WE GIVE RESPECT BACK,SO THERE ALOWED TO LIVE HERE! &WHITE PEOPLE THAT GOT AINT NO DAMM RESPECT&SAY FUCK HAWAII CAN GO BACK TO WHERE THE FUCK THE CAME FROM!! & ANOTHER THING NEVA EVER CALL ME OR A NATIVE PERSON FROM THE ISLANDS A WHITE PERSON! OK!!!!!

  • (2/7)want but i call hawaii my own country,i do not call the u.s. my country. cause no matter what when your born here ..no matter if your asian or hawaiian you will always have hate on haole(white)people no matter what. and for you white people i suggest you guys start respecting our culture cause guess what no matter were you go you will always have a local staring at you,and no matter what we always say to our selves we were born here! you flew here!!

  • (3/7)and just because you come and live on the island for 5 or 10 years i swear dont consider your self as a local cause you werent born here! no as far as other pacific people there allowed to come and live here cause there part of the pacific like for example the tongans, samoans, maori people are welcomed to live in hawaii cause we treat them as our family cause they didnt do anything to us like steal our land, and our country so there welcomed to stay

  • (4/7)cause there part of the pacific islands and so are we,and do not say all of the west side is part of the pacific cause guess what there aint part of the damm pacific islands the west side is just part of the "PACIFIC OCEAN". but for me i dont hate white people i just dislike you girl/guys to be honest cause thats is just how some of us feel cause how would you like it if all of canada, europe,&asia came to the U.S.

  • (5/7)to steal your land and your country and your goverment without asking and then all of sudden you become part of a country to canada or asia for example. Huh!!!? how would you feel?????? if you u.s. people would understand what were still going through then why the heck are you people still disrespecting our culture? plus as far as me being Niitsítapi (its a native american tribe)&filipino, korean, chinese i dislike american people more to what they did to my people and my asian community.

  • (6/7)like when are you people gonna stop disliking us? why are you people jealous that were the colored ones? like umm hello all of the mix ethinicitys come from europe&asia&africa so why are you making fun of your self?? dont not say your not asian or your european cause guess what!! wake up call you might be european or asian!! cause its not like a super white man& woman fell from the universe down to earth and started making white babys.

  • (7/7)and all of these kkk is soo dumb cause there fricking retarded not knowing that in the mixture of there ethnicitys there asian or european. Omfg! white people now days.

  • will any of you idiots understand that this is only thing they can do! cause they are not allowed to do the maori haka. and are any of you stupid mindless people half polynesian cause seems like none of you know that polynesian people migrated all over the pacific ,there are even maori in hawaii ,alot of tongan &samoans too!!so if none of you people know a damm thing then one word i have to tell you is SHUT UP!i bet some of you people are haole and dont know a damm thing about our poly cultures.

  • @melody96732 chill out pendejo, first thing that comes to mind after reading your bllsht rant is why dont you stop speaking English then if you hate 'haoles' and their imperialistic culture so much. let me guess, you eat and drink western food more often than you do traditional local food, you watch and cheer for UH play 'American' football, you definitely listen to western music either on the radio or cd, list goes on.. you lose

  • Hawaiians fought for many years till our one king given the right to rule by the gods came to us and took the islands by force

  • mean haka

  • Respect to all the Polynesian nations and their Haka.

But it will never fully compare to the Maori War Haka,

then again the maoris were very tribal and fought alot with each other.

It's never been like that so much on the islands, but then again

they are on a paradise so I mean why would you? :P

  • THIS IS A GREAT HAKA. w w w. youtube. com / watch?v=l5H4CTiepd8

  • its awesome all war chants, hakas, war dances im from new zealand rugby is my sport and gridiron, rugby, rugby league all of them you can get hurt i diss the yanks sport cos they wear pads and shit just gives you more reason to hit harder i remember when rugby every one had pads haha any wayz i enjoy watching american football ! go dolphins! NZ warriors and allblacks for world cup october Kia Ora!

  • @AwesomeKiwiGuy lol i meant: i dont diss the yanks haha

  • idk, everytime i watch them do it, it still looks like they do it half-ass.

  • @Kamakazi242012 i actually agree

  • Oh ya nd this Ha'a is soo off too haha. They're not doing anything correctly. Leave it to the high school teams to do it right haha. Nd high school das wea get da action haha cheee heee

  • Omg in case yall is blind the tittle says "Hawaiian Ha'a War Chant" so this isn't the haka pple. Pleeze understand that. And stop bashing hawaiians what's yall probs we all poly, we all have the same blood running in our veins nd we all proud. And don't refer to us as "Americans" psshhh it'll be a disgrace to be considered part of those fools. And btw for all yuu Rugby fangirls football is just as rough and maybe ever rougher than rugby so no talk. Polynesian Hawaiian Pride bule ChEee heEeeE

  • @hawaiian96chence interestingly enough I'm from the mainland, New York City to be exact! But I do agree, soo many people have lost what it is to be a proud person! Though I am not hawaiian, 'nor am I from Hawai'i, or any of the pacific islands, I do have a strong respect toward all men and women from the pacific islands! The pride, the way of the warrior, how to be a man, how to respect! These values have also carried onto the football field! my culture has lost that and have become fools!

  • @CC25Y Ya man and not all americans are lke that but the majority are. That's why i call americans fools. True, pac-islanders are raised with those values. Wow NYC huh always wanted to visit the big apple someday ha. And mahalo nui loa for the respect you have for my people and culture. And football is the shit, to play and watch (:

  • @hawaiian96chence you're welcome friend, yes Football is a great sport, I look at football though not as a game of skill, though u need lots of skill for football but I look at football as a game of heart, determination, will, to me Football has always been a game of Life! In life we all experience something hard, tough, we all have our own story, but it's how we overcome our struggles that keeps us going. Same with Football, lets say a team is better than the other, play hard, play with heart!

  • @hawaiian96chence Football for has always been a way to escape, Honestly I wish football was yearly with no breaks just like pro wrestling, no breaks! but I'd probably be assisting in murder! Seriously though I just can't imagine not having Football! Baseball is cool, basketball is okay, hockey is so so and soccer and rugby I like just not as much as the others, however Football is just in my opinion in a world of its own!

  • Did they stop doing this?

  • @lostenmusic yes they did

  • Actually, Haka takes on many meanings, forms, and participants. It varies across cultures, seasons, and events. All that matters is that each participant understands why they are doing what they are doing, not that outsiders can argue with each other about its meaning.

Anyways, it is really cool that the Hawaii football team does this; for them, I assume, it is a lot about culture and "pre-war" hype.

  • ZUMBA, hawaiian style.

  • dis is so prime

  • @naplesdogg ur an idiot they beat nevada.. who won the WAC get ur facts straight.. they got 2nd place in their conference

  • 22 Polamalus :)

  • @VaDER19880316 Polumalo was the worst safty that ever see!

  • @escribeleagabriel Oh, you are so good at scouting players. Do you work for any NFL team?

  • @VaDER19880316 Oh, you are so good scouting scots... :o)

  • Reckon even those Millwall stalwarts would blanche at this lot !!

  • football?!?!?! leave it on the rugby field

  • @undertaker1029 thay do it everywhere... basketball games, baseball game i once saw, just pretty much wheres theres a team

  • @bradfordbulls4lyf ya but it doesnt work aswell on rugby field, im mean like common!

  • I remember this! I went to that game, it was the first football game I ever went to, and Hawaii blew Nevada away! During the game I heard yelling coming from the parking lot and turned around to see a hawaiian beating a haole's ass.. typical.. and embarrasing. HAWAIIAN PRIDE though, 24/7. They're doing a Ha'a by the way, it's not a haka, and it's not like they're doing the Kamate Haka, so chill out. We're all linked somehow, so why aren't Hawaiians allowed to do the Haka?? Don't be ignorant.

  • I think it is great they have adopted there own haka.

  • @Leaguefan01 Do you know what grammar is?

    Honestly.

  • WAT A JOKE..

  • are they strong?

  • actually my grandfather told me that his bros and sis go to hawaii to perform kapahaka and to learn their ways and teach our ways, i didn't know that. sorry if i wasted time and space on this page and i admit i need to get my fact rights.

  • I had no right saying those nasty comments and wish i could take it all back. Multidoo and kepo, they also said CHUR BROS for the comments and to those maori out there defending the brothers and sisters of our culture. They said maybe i need to pay more attention and listen to the wiser elders and stop getting hyped up about this. They loved the way this team had represented. Once again I deeply apologize and if the hawaiian/american can give the AROHA (love), forgive in other words soz

  • @Roguelsd good on you rouge, at least you admitted about your comments. if you had of read the previous comments on here, hawaiians rarotonnga and maori aren't so different from each other, you come from the same bloodline. really you should be proud of what this team is doing, they have lost alot of history and also there is no harm for them to ask, but hey they maybe under america but still you relatives down the line, and thank your cousins uncles and aunts "CHUR" I live in nz by the way

  • I apologize to those who i have offended Hawaiian/American. My cousins/uncles and aunts have seen this clip and have also seen what i have written on you tube. They did not agree with what i said, (actually i was growled at), but do agree that i am just defending what i believe. They also told me the heritage and where we came from (YES I'M A DUUH MYSELF) which are Hawaii, Rarotonga. That Hawaii have a right to know their heritage and get help when needed from their WHANAU descendants.

  • i see a lot of ppl on here defending and attackin hawaii for doing a war dance similar to the haka. In all respect, hawai'i has lost a lot of culture. America is in hawai'i and has changed a lot. Hawai'i has lost a lot of history and culture from the forced annexation. We look to our polynesian brothers and sisters to aid us in he restoration of our culture.

  • sorry i wanted to add something else.....don't take it personally because you as a maori know where it originated from. That may not be the ka mate they're doing, but they are doing a maori dance which i've seen inthe kapa haka back here and you're right it is also used in old war days for a 100 years. bt hay come on, the maoris i know just laugh at these things. don't worry about it mate. kia kaha, be strong. that's what you people are all about.

  • Damn are people still close-minded. Hawaii is a polynesian island so it's understandable why they would perform a war dance just like Samoa and Tonga. Just saying, the Aboriginals who are Aussies have their own war dance they performed against the Maori when they played each other in rugby league. But yeah as a Maori I'm glad that this team are performing a ritual of their own rather than the Maori one they used prior. American football and rugby union are both good sports to play and watch.

  • ROFLMAO @ rogue. Hard out. I'm an australian born living in nz for 2 yrs and i have seen a similar dance/haka to what they're doing back in australia, we went to watch a few maori dance or i think in nz it's 'kapa haka' and that is always used by maori. I still watch the kapa haka with my kiwi mates. Awesome and the sound on stage is like thunder, it's powerful. Gives me goosebumps all the way mate. scary : D

  • in saying that aussies or south africa aren't polynesians, i can see that half that football team aren't all polynesians either you DUUH brain. and it was your news presenters who had also stated that the HAKA that they're using is from NZ. Maybe you guys need to pull your skirts up and stop stealling ideas, that's a sign of WEAKNESS. disgusting, they look like girls. They should watch UTU it's an old nz movie, that will show you FIERCE and INTIMIDATION

  • @Roguelsd This team represents Hawaii which is a polynesian island. Funny how you say that I should go back to school and learn my history. I know how the 'haka' originated and why it was used. This team caused an outrage previously performing Ka Mate and the Kapa o Pango but out of respect to the Maori they changed it and made this Ha'a which is an Hawaiian wardance. Obviously you're missing the point. Let them do what they want and you focus on your own.

  • your missing the point, you need to go back to school and learn your history. The haka was also used for war not only rugby. This bull shit you're seeing now is a load of crap, only using it to make money. They just started doing that because one of the players had asked his cousin in nz to teach them that. SOOOOOOO football never ever had made a haka or ha'a what ever the fuck you no hopers call it for sport. you see every other country samoa tonga, they all had followed us later on

  • This team is not performing 'Ka Mate' so I don't see why people are still bashing them for performing a wardance. Maori are polynesians just like Hawaiians are. Different polynesian cultures have their own war dance. Also it's pretty pathetic going on about which sport is better. People have their own opinions and it's a losing marathon to try and convince the other.

  • @missyisawho KAMA TE, it doesn't matter, it's a similar bloody war dance to us, and they're also calling it THE HAKA which is from NZ, so it's still the same thing. We can all see that. Something only NZ had created i said. and yet america just comes and takes it LIKE ALWAYS. aussie, england and south africa might as well use it for their rugby teams.

  • @Roguelsd It's actually called a HA'A the Hawaiian war chant/dance but haka is mentioned because they performed the Ka Mate haka before and now they have a new one. Polynesians have similar war dances you idiot. The Samoans do the Siva Tau and the Tongans do the Sipi Tau. The Hawaiians would do the Ha'a. The haka/war dance is a POLYNESIAN thing and it's the polynesians of the American football teams that decide to use it.

  • @Roguelsd For the record it's Ka Mate NOT Kama Te. Maori are POLYNESIANS just like Hawaiians are. The American football teams that perform the haka or war dances are predominately POLYNESIAN players. Like the Texas football team by the Tongans. Aussie, England or South Africa are not polynesians or have mostly polynesian players so off course they wouldn't perform a haka duhhh. Samoans and Tongans do it their own style. Get over your stupidity and move on.

  • The "HAKA" was created for NZ ALL BLACKS RUGBY TEAM by a maori...NOT FOR HAWAIIAN/AMERICAN FOOTBALL, or any other sport. ffs get it right. since when has football decided to create a haka??????? That's been our tradition for over 100 years. We use that haka before the sport starts. how dare you yanks just take our idea. I don't recall seeing AUSTRALIA, ENGLAND or any other country that associate with rugby, ever use our HAKA for their leisure. so yeah, 'KA KITE ANO'

  • I have something wrong with NFL teams doing the haka. Seems so wrong. Hawaiians doing it is ok though

  • @alexdalong yeaye

  • First off let me say that i have an immense respect for every sport and culture. I love watching association football, or soccer as we call it in the U.S., and i think that rugby is an interesting sport although i have never really been exposed to it. I don't see the need for all of you rugby fans to ridicule American football though. Enjoy you're own sports and maybe try to understand and appreciate another culture's one as well.
