There are so many Tamil people don't even differenciate "La" and "la" and some don't even remember "ZH". Even the famous actors like Vijayakanth and comedian Vadivel says

Tamil instead of "Thamiz".

She is from North and she sings in Tamil and the crowd is so understandable and she got a good applause when she corrected the mistake.
