  • Scariest part: he's only 22!

  • Yao Ming?

  • I have always told my son, some athletes are truly freaks of nature and JPP is a freak of nature.

  • Beast!

im a cowboys supporter but this guy TORE us apart.

i play left end and i really admire this guy.

    KUDOS

  • good job eagles, taking brandon graham over this freak

  • Hes 22 and hes already one od the best DEs in the leage

  • Comment removed

  • Wow that USF coach is absolutely right it's scary what his potential could be. JPP is monster so glad he's a Giant the league is not ready for him he's years ahead if u think about it.

  • This guy is way more physical than strahan was at his age. He's gonna dominate with Tuck this year.

  • Yes, I know what you mean.

  • he says you know what i mean alot. =P I think he has alot of potential .

  • omg stop talking pierre..

  • i feel u my mom blind and i play d end

  • when osi and tuck retire this guy will be ready to maybe even be the next strahan he has height and reach

  • @firerustdragon retire? you think they gonna be giants for life? who knows. and I guarantee he'll be something before they retire.

  • he's a monster but we did not need another DE, our defensive line is already dominant, we needed a linebacker

  • its nice to see he works so hard to support his parents

  • A new 21-year old man in town. That's Jason Pierre-Paul! He's with the Giants!

  • Im pushing 4 this guy nick name to be THE FREAK

  • welcome to the giants young man. we'll work on your elocution, just get your ass after that quarterback. you've got some greats to learn from.

  • Giants are stack now at everything. The only thing we got to worried about is injury because that hurt us last year.We got Bullock for middle, Sintim & Boley at the outside, Webster, Ross,Phillips,Grant & Rolle at secondary,Osi Tuck JPP Canty Cofield& Joseph at line. You know what, if i can name everybody, i would. We are so stack but its ashamed we dont get praised & respect we deserve but hell, we love being the underdog. We going to make some noise this year & hopefully the promise land again.

  • I DONT LIKE THIS PICK, HE'S GOOD DONT GET ME WRONG BUT THE GIANTS NEED A LB!!!

  • @RaiderMonster -_-...the Giants base their entire defense in their front 4. With Kiwi Osi and Tuck, Osi or Kiwi will be gone.

Plus, the only LB worth getting at 15 was McClain, and we was gone.

  • @ksx1988 true, true. didnt mathias play LB i say put him at lolb and but michael boley at MLB

  • @RaiderMonster Shifting around players like that is no easy task. Kiwi was decent at best in coverage, but to throw him back out there would be pointless because he wouldn't be too good.

I don't think Boley has the awareness for ILB

Plus, with Tuck, Kiwi, Osi, and JPP, we have 4 talented to pro bowl DE rotating, that was a key in 07 when we had Strahan, Osi, Tuck. Also, with Canty coming back teaming up with Linval Joseph and Cofield, our DL will be very good.

  • @ksx1988 cool, cant wait for u guys

  • Welcome to Big Blue Jason. Don't get caught up in the bright lights in the big city. Stay grounded, focused, and family oriented and you can be one of the greats. Good luck!

  • bust

  • @jr503jr hater.....

  • @jr503jr What do you mean he's a bust he's a perfect fit for the GMEN!

  • The next Julius Peppers

  • Young blood. Welcome to New York buddy. Your job: break off Tony Romo's arm.

  • Welcome to NYG baby!!! They will develop him into a BEAST

A SCARY BEAST That will Blast NFL QB's out of their shoulder pads !!!!

  • seems like a good guy good luck jason

    welcome to the giants

  • Nicks kills kenny Britt look at the fuckin stats

  • Welcome to The New York Football Giants

  • wex: Nicks > Britt

  • HE'S A FREAK but thank god new york got him

  • whats gonna happen to osi?

  • the giants robbed us two years in a row first hakeem nicks then pierre paul

but kenny britt ended up better than nicks

maybe morgan better than pierre paul??

  • @wexley666 Kenny Britt better than Nicks? I think not. Morgan won't show much more than he did in college.

  • @wexley666 surely you jest! Britt's season was 42/701/3. Nicks was 47/790/6. And Nicks played 2 less games.

  • @wexley666 lol kenny britt blows get out of here

  • @wexley666

I am a Giants fan, but if you look at the stats Hakeem is clearly the better playmaker. He had twice as many TDs as Britt. Also Morgan doesn't have much upside while JPP on the other hand has huge upside so it looks like the Titans lost out two years in a row.

  • Yes. Glad your a giant. Wish we got McClain though. But i want him or Paul so...yeah

  • thats a NY Giant right there!

  • Welcome to NY!!!

  • I think I counted 17 1/2 "YOU KNO I MEAN" LOL.

  • How many times did he say "YOU KNO I MEAN" LOL. My homeboy knows him n I saw him at the LA Fitness in Deerfield Beach, FL. You kno i mean.

  • Sorry for the double post but, I don't think his mom's going to do any house keeping anymore.

  • I want to see him do backflips over the Cowboys O-line and land on Romo.

  • we soooooo needed another DE half the junior year and he was done the worst pick in Giants history. All these people in his life pushed him to play

  • He dont even want to play, he was talked into it!!!! stupid pick!!!

  • Welcome the the New York Giants JASON!

I want to let you know the i believe in you and you'll be great to our team.

    Good Luck

  • On behave of the giants community we are proud to welcome the newest member of the NEW YORK GIANTS!!!!

  • WELCOME TO BIG BLUE!!!!!!!

We don't take no busts so he better work his ass off.

    Good Luck!

  • GIANTS!!! WE CAN'T WAIT JASON! GO BLUE

  • welcome to the GIANTS GOOD LUCK!

  • hate this pick i just hope that he doesnt bust why no get morgan or bualaga just dont get it sand street man i hoope you are right but i just dont like the whole fact that he transfered twice from a community college. What if he is just an idiot how is he going 2 grab the playbook?

  • @muffinman10234 your a real douch bag, community college is just as good as regular college, just cheaper.

  • Welcome J.P.P. I hope he is worth the risk. They should have taken LB. GO BLUE!!!

  • 1:55....lol- I likeded it....

  • lol people must be crazy comparing a person's speech to his IQ level. lol Yall ever heard Charles Barkley talk? How about Tim Hardaway? Emmitt Smith? Remember Ron Harper? Played for the Cavs, Bulls & Lakers. Well he could harldy talk & had a SEVERE stuttering problem, but he was a very good basketball player. Anyone who equates playing a professional sport with IQ needs to get THEIR IQ checked!

  • he can know what he means all he wants....just gimme sacks and don't play like a rookie......Lawrence Taylor sounded like that too....he did ok for himself....

  • I know what you mean....I think....

  • he sounds like a retard know what i mean?

  • The kid will be a force.

His talent is just too good.

Pierre-Paul played outstanding football in his raw time.

The Giants will develop this guy.

    Watch out.

The G-Men are on a roll and a mission.

    I am,

    George Vreeland Hill

  • wow, nice story

  • Horrible pick for the Giants. I'm sick to stomach

  • @sczlep1 I know..

  • the newest member of the GEEMEEENNNNN!! WELCOME BROTHA

  • Haha so much for staying in school. Welcome to New York JPP!

  • God bless this young man. Do right by your family young man and make them proud. Keep your nose clean.Work extremely hard and save your money.

  • Wekcome to the giants!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • working for the ny giants now 15th pick in the 1st round...keep it up jpp!

  • Welcome to da Jints!

  • Welcome to the New York Giants!!!

  • I hope Miami takes him or Brandon Graham

  • He's going to be great in the NFL. Congrats to the team lucky enough to draft him tomorrow. I love this December interview -- when he was leaning on coming back for another season with the Bulls. Nope. He's going to be rich tomorrow.

  • give him the right coaching staff and he will flourish, ppl said the same about speach/ iq with vontae davis last year and look how good he was. JPP wasn't even sure he wanted to play football and he was a top prospect within his first yr.

  • ok this boy's only problem is that he just dont stop bull rushing the QB. he has GOT TO get under control and lower his center of gravity otherwise he is gonna keep gettin his ankles broken

  • Actually... I'd like to see Baltimore take him. He needs a strong mentor like Rey Lewis to guide him or he'll never make it in the NFL

  • @fritogranito Jacksonville,Miami, or Tennessee would take him if he's availible!

  • @fritogranito

Or.. he can flourish under Jim Washburn & the Titans.

  • Man, this is a tough one. Such a complete feast vs famine scenario. The kid isn't very bright, forget leadership, the combine interviews were horrible, and there's a good question of his commitment to football. On the other hand, he's a pure athlete with all the physical tools and has been crime free to my research and has a nose for the ball. Whomever picks him is going to have to have strong locker room and off-field leadership.

Jets would be a great fit for this kid in my opinion.

  • His desire is his biggest question mark!

  • The Freak 2. Tennessee Titans

  • With the 16th overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft, The Tennesee Titans select Jason Pierre-Paul, Defensive End, University of South Florida. Quote me on it

  • @brown5261 Yeah that's true The Titans need a DE more than any other position!

  • Dolphins will take him, or Dez Bryant. He will not fall to second round.

  • fightonsc84 u are wrong the titans is gonna get jason sorry

  • Good football player. Maybe he should get an education.

  • Bust!!!

  • Titans first round

  • @Fizzum He'll be long gone in the second RD why not get him in the first?

  • what is his mom saying

  • eagles second round baby !!!!

  • @FIZZUM He won't fall that far, they might get him 1st round though.

  • @FIZZUM wtf titans 1st round

  • Eagles second round !!

  • He is a top ten pick, he will not be there in the second round

  • The tape doesn't justify a 1st round pick, but when I watch and listen to this kid, I just have a feeling that he can be outstanding in the NFL: so much room to bulk. Besides, listen to the guy talk, he's the archetype of the "Very nice but not so smart guy", like the typical big teddy bear lol. I almost have compassion for the guy, poor kid with a blind dad etc... I'm pretty sure some teams will fall in love in spite of the fact he's an extremely raw prospect.

  • This kid looks like a beast! I would love to see him play for the BROWNS!

  • @ncheels015 You guys can have him! the Raiders want an O-Line!

  • Ok so what, He said "likeded it". I know jason peronally, former teammate at deerfield beach high school, English isn't his first language so give em a break.

  • kids about to be a multi millionare, he can pay some educated scrub to teach him

  • HOLD ON i know this dude did not say i likded it at 1:55 wow this dude makin black athletes look bad dam dude they dont got books at ucf

  • USF* This kid can play, He will learn the NFL language. Btw the easiest position to play on an intelligence in level in football is DE/Rush OLB...

  • @jravens13

I agree he can play, but playing Rush OLB is not one of the easiest positions to play from an intelligence standpoint, it is one of the toughest. You have to know a lot of terminology, and you have a ton of assignments, from setting the edge, to dropping in coverage, and then of course rushing the passer. In a 3-4, no position has a low intelligence level. Except maybe in a few of those purely attacking 3-4, which aren't true 3-4's (a la Chargers or Ravens).

  • Actually the Ravens command a lot more from their OLB's than most 3-4's we have one of the most complex defenses as we always have OLB's droping in coverage, running stunts, disguising coverage etc. The Steelers and Chargers are the best example of just edge rushers. but DE's really don't have that much to keep track of. The must keep contain in run support but for the most part its just beat your man and flow to the ball. There is a reason why so many Rookies have success at the position.

  • ok but he said LIKEDED IT know what im sayin that sound like sumthin a 3 grader would say

  • @jravens13 called slang jack ass. Why does he have to sound like a audio book reader? BTW, english isn't his first language..

  • @Bralidiroe look at what i said...i didnt say anything about him being stupid...i was defending him so stfu and suck a dick

  • Looking at this guy, I just feel like he has no "Heart" for the game of football. Remind me of Kwame Brown from NBA. I hope the Raiders don't get him.

  • The apple didn't fall far from the tree with this family

  • i hate to say it but this just shows that you dont need education to get ahead in life. not all of us were blessed with the brain matter but atleast god gave him athletic ability to overcome his poverty. now its up to him, but as most of these guys go he might just end up either flopping out cause of run ins with the law, or retiring after couple years to be a pop warner coach.

  • What the hell did his mom say?

  • this dude just seems dumb im sorry i swear in the interview he said "liketed it"

  • For starters, he's from Haiti so he had to overcome the language barrier. So he had to learn English first and then learn like the rest of us. Not an easy task. You can also hear the distinct accent and dialect in his sister.

He also plays a position that doesn't need to be the brightest guy on the field -- if in fact he is "dumb" as opposed to not speaking eloquent.

  • @lordoldschool Being able to speak doesn't reflect on intelligence. JaMarcus Russell was an academic all-american, but you would think he is dumb as fuck. Turns out... he is just a lazy piece of shit who has ruined the Raiders.... (nothing to do with topic at hand)

    /rant =D

  • @Enkay88 wow harsh words im guessing your from oakland

  • lol naa man, I'm Iranian. However, I do bleed Silver & Black.

  • @Enkay88

I understand. It seems like everyone is questioning his intelligence by hearing him talk. Just look at the comments. Clearly all I said, is he had to pick up the language first and also learn as well. You can listen to an international brain surgeon who sounds retarded trying to speak English if it's not their first language.

  • @dp9eagle13 Eat shit cock suka!

    It's football not English.

U watch him come on all of ya!

    Zoe Movement Boy!!

  • @Grenplen how many times did he say quit in this interview? he just seems like the type to give up if things arent going his way he just seems like he's going to be a bust

  • @Grenplen how many times did he say quit in this interview? he just seems like the type to give up if things arent going his way he just seems like he's going to be a bust

  • This guy has no heart!! bust in the making. He has a quiters attitude.

  • why do you say that

  • SAINTS

Come repeat with the 2009 NFL CHAMPIONS

  • Oakland should go Rolando McClain. He has a presence that you can't get anywhere in the draft unless you're the Rams (Ndamkong Suh).

  • The Raiders SHOULD take Anthony Davis or Bruce Campbell to protect the left side of the O Line.

  • if they were smart... which al davis is not.. they would get navarro bowman or rolando mcclain

  • raiders are getting jake locker or cj spiller... but who cares the raiders are gonna suck as always..

  • Jake Locker is staying put in college for his senior season.

  • oh well in that case they will probably get davis or mcclain

  • jake is not in the draft

  • jake locker isn't entering the draft smart one

  • no shit go play your trumpet and blow me

  • his mum won't need to work any more

    good story

  • RAAAIDERRRRS!!

  • This guy is amazing and he is a freak !

  • I think he will enter the draft because of the money. I think hes going to want to help his family and get drafted by Tennessee at 17

  • yea raiders gon get him..

  • GREAT STORY!

now he is about to make a TON of money in the NFL

  • Last year I said Oakland will take DHB at 7 overall and in 2010 Oakland will take Pierre-Paul at 7.

    mark it down.

  • no they are taking a QB, Sam Bradford, from Oklahoma

The New England are taking Pierre-Paul 1st round 25th pick

  • dont u know that Al davis wants a big arm QB

bradfords arm is not that strong and he is not freakishly athletic

  • Al Davis is fully committed to JaMarcus Russell, he isn't taking Sam Bradford. Jason Pierre-Paul won't last to the Patriots pick.

  • @FIGHTonSC84 We're at #8 bruh.

  • i don't know, most mock drafts have him going in the late first. he does kinda seem like an al davis pick though

  • Yes! That's amazing he is staying for his last year!

    GO BULLS!

  • jpp is a beast hope to see him back next year for more terrorizing the big east
