  • I could have told you that. When it's winter I always turn around in a reverse 180. Engine weight makes the car a bitch and throws the car around in corners, but you do get better traction in reverse in some situations on straight lines because the engine is over the drive tires and when on an incline, even more weight is loaded on the front end giving a slight boost to traction.

  • guys probably jerking off, that's why the cameras all shaky

  • Yo dawg I heard you like videos, so we put a video in your video so you can film while you film dawg.

  • JUST SET THE CAMERA DOWN!

  • Copy Right

  • Karie is so hot!

  • female drivers :P

  • Wow this myth is pointless... the main problem with ice is not the traction, it's the way you use the gas and brake. Traction is good when you're stuck on ice or in snow.

And they call this a slippery road? She's loosing control only because she doesn't know how to drive on snow... there is almost no snow on the road and no ice at all...

The road condition is actually good, it's like on a Spring day, easy to drive

  • @krickrack there on a frozen lake its all ice

  • @NMSchultz1

no they are not... they are on an airport (south lake tahoe airport)

there's a lake nearby but they are not on it

  • @krickrack ohh well never mind then

  • they should have done the tests up hill

  • these people do some cool stuff, but they seriously don't know anything about cars.

  • Well when you put an inexperienced driver on snow which first time on it yeah shes not going to do worth a damn.

  • you are a fucking bad camera man dude. just hold the fucking cam still. and don't upload some crap like this or i will hunt jou down.

  • I'm gonna find this mother fucker who uploaded this, and make him watch every season of "The View" and that will teach him a lesson for posting crap like this.

  • Karie is fucking hot!

  • As a professional driver, I can honestly say not to trust any testing mythbusters do involving cars. They have absolutely no clue when it comes to driving myths. The issue with driving on snow and ice is finesse more than anything. I have no issues taking my Corvette Z06 skiing (with summer performance tires because my wheels are too wide for snow tires), when most people with anything but AWD get themselves stuck. People just need to learn how to drive in the winter.

  • @v12tommy Uhm you can also fit some Grand Sport wheels with narrower tires if you wanna use winter tires on a Corvette. 285/35/19 are available. But anyway there's always something wrong when they do a myth like this. If they would have used a very heavy car on very narrow tires, it would have been very easy to control. But they didnt mention anything about tire size.

  • @NorthwesternNL actually, I just found out the other day that Pirelli makes winter performance tires that are 295/35-18 which is the stock size for the Z06, but I still can't find tires for the fronts, although a 245/45-17 should fit (it might look a bit stretched though). I still decided to stick with my summer performance tires though. I have snow tires on my Audi for ice racing and they are a bit sloppy on dry pavement, and as much as I drive the Corvette I will stick with what I have.

  • @dogofdog1018 weight works when its on top of snow on top of another hard surface, if your going out into the woods for some snowbogging, going light is the way to go

  • yet another sh*t experiment by the mythbusters, proved nothing except she cant drive

  • What a load of rubbish!

Reversing UP A HILL, will put more weight on the driving wheels, and may get you moving when going forward would not. Nobody ever claimed you should reverse round twisty corners on a level road.

  • @sparkygl0s LOL ikr!

  • @sparkygl0s LOL ikr!

  • its the lack of weight over the rear.

  • :))))))

  • Do you have parkinson?

  • i think he does cuz he does not hold it straight one bit of the video

  • Hold the fucking camera still im trying to watch tv.
