The Wankel had much problems finding the right material for the seals so they dont ware out.
Cos of this the reputation of the Wankel motor lost its maket and is not a popular type of motor.
I bet this design will need lots and lots of testing before it could hit the market and make a success.

my best guess is that you will need a working prototype to be taken seriusly. however the concept is great and it might work. Or it might not and that's why you need the prototype.
