  • always loved this song

  • Love trombonist Tony Dorsey doing the salute and later the conducting when the fife part comes up. The Wings horn section for the tour (Dorsey, Thaddeus Richard, Howie Casey and Steve Howard) were tight.

  • @RayNDeere Im a trumpet player and I wish I coulda been there. I only like to play his songs.

  • I Love this man and his music! What more can I say. Cheers

  • i used to catch pollywogs to this

  • seattle

  • fake

  • I wonder if Paul did a marathon how many songs he would have to play, if he only played relative "HITS"?

  • @DAVWAVE Well, I saw him do a three hour show of hits in Chicago last summer, and there were still a ton of songs he could have played but didn't. If he ever decides to find out, I'll be selling a kidney to buy a ticket.

  • i ]guess this is seattle...

  • I am the walrus! Also the drummer

  • He doesn't seem to play this tune live these days; I wonder why that is. It's not a bad tune. Just curious.

  • @kja427 he has been playing it live since 1990 in almost every tour till now :)

  • This sounds like the Beatles. I think this is the most Beatles like of all Paul's post Beatles songs. What do you think. All the best now.

  • =D!!

  • heard the flute part when I walked in a store-talk about a flashback-living in DC u just dont hear the old music anymore-yes the stations suck in the nations cap of all places, Its all about going back to 76

  • I'm pretty sure the marching drummer was Julian Lennon... :)

  • this guy had endless talent for 2 decades

  • it's funny how you listen to the song and months later it's still in your head like a computer virus that always popup

  • Please watch, like, sub, my video please

  • I love that guy's outfit. You all know who I'm talking about. I also love Paul SO much.:D

  • Who was the person who played the part of the Tea Party Patriot/Drummer ? 1:13

  • @Wellch That would be Denny Laine, normally a guitarist in wings, formerly of the Moody Blues

  • i wake up and this song is always in my head when im feeling good

paul is quite the music maker!

  • haha you sure its not 1776? i fuckin love the drummer they got hahahhaa

  • The guy playing the drum looked a lot like Roger Daltrey from The Who.

  • I've had this song in my head for days-what a great melody.

  • I was there May 25th 1976 MSQ will never forget - sold a scalped ticket for $1000 was a huge score - my current girlfriend as of 1976 was 6 them - OUCH!

  • Paul, John, George and Ringo forever! The BEATLES. Serendipty???.

    No...proof that God exists!

  • :)

  • haaa, i love the lightness and warmness of this song :)

  • haaa, i love the lightness and warmness of this song

  • It sounds like something that could happen in a haunted house. Someone knocking on the door and ringing the bell (with the creepy and melodic tune)

  • Waht a great number one hit this was.

  • Do me a favor, Open the door. Always put a smile on my face. Paul is pur genius and a rare composer

  • this is a great song

  • 1:02 "Do me a flavor..." lol. :)

  • @11beatlemania11 Yeah I caught that :) Great charm!

  • ther is one person paul shouldn't let in

  • Not surprising they'd do an homage to the Bicentennial back in '76. When I saw him on July 4, 1990 in DC (RFK Stadium), his lead-in to one song was, "America... I hear it's your birthday!" Then he played "Birthday" Way cool :)

  • All to hear "Ms. Jackson" and see that Outkast copied it.

  • I'm, a Lennon man all the way but Sir Paul live, OMG

  • pure nostalgia

  • one person couldn't get in!!

  • I like the Revolution/bicentennial hat worn by Denny Laine.

  • GREAT just GREAT !!!!

  • the 70's and 80's were Paul's best post-Beatle era

  • I was a young lad of 16 when i saw wings over america at the chicago stadium. I saw paul again in 1990 at the sun devil stadium.

  • very good live version...reminds me of being at the dentist in the 70's my dentist had an 8 track machine playing wings greatest hits ...

  • chido por pasar gracias a cancion paul mccartney de let em in

  • I remember when this song had just come out and I was only two or three, but I was standing up in the back seat of my dad's car while he was cruising down the road and this song was on and I still remember to this day, before I even knew who Paul was or anything about the Beatles that the voice and mind behind that song was really special.

  • @tardwhisperer wow you were two or three ,,,and still remember this?

    good memory.

  • @tardwhisperer Im the same age as you are and I understand

I remember hearing ALOT of Fleetwood Mac when i was 2-3 as well as this song

  • Paul Mc Cartney is a genious

  • Much better than any other performances on YouTube!

  • Demasiado buena en vivo.

  • This has gotta be one of the coolest songs EVAR...pure genius in its simplicity!

  • This is my 10 year old's favorite song. We listen to the 70's channel on satellite radio all the time. He sings along with it all the time.

  • Keane's "Somewhere Only We Know" sounds similar to me.

  • wow his music is amazing all the way paul al the things i'd give just 2 go see live

  • Best live performance of the song, almost Identical to the original version!

  • LOVE this one- thanks for posting this... and thanks to Rob for reminding me of it!
