yeah what about 2 liters per minute? before you control the current, you ever consider where the heat is coming from? efficiency is the problem and pwms just compensate for inneficiency. what would possess a man to create heat and then limit it? hydrolysis doesnt require heat, thats the sign that you have more than 1.65 volts per plate. that was proved in like 1825. and leakage, naw, smack boosters aint just gas, its vapor and waste of current (yes i have one, nice try)
musta prepped and conditioned the plates and most trucks have 14.5 volts with ripple, thats cuz all chargers have peak ripple (unless you are ignorant of basic charging facts) anyways how much is vapor? vapor is spent water and has to be condensed to squeeze any energy out of it. vapor is present with heat produced by leakage. guess what? thats from Bob Boyce, geee...what does he know? uh...3.5 mmw is smacks booster, 60% efficient, no matter what volume of stuff you measure or how you boast
Thanks for sharing, what is your solution and ratio? The wires are not getting hot? My wires seems to get hot after 15 minutes of testing under 12 amps and 12 volts. Your help is very much appreciated. Thanks
instead of pwm a diode in series would create .6v times say 20 amps of 20.6 watts loss making voltage 13.8-.6 =13.2v ...wouldnt a simple switch reducing say a couple or three diodes make the cell reduce heat and current draw drop where you want it to?
Ya displacement video will do it. And someone else is right it jumps sometimes above 2L because of inertia since it is being bumped up pretty quick and after all average of that bouncing should be some 1L+. So lets get rid of creepy stuff and measure right (correct output). Tnx
All this shows is that you have a bouncing ball that reads 2 lpm and 0 lpm. You will have to do a bottle test to show a real read out of the gas since you are getting a bouncing ball of course 555 opposite would smooth out that also.
Rick, you are correct! Additionally the flow gage I was using is for AIR not hydroxy so, the best test is a displacement test. I have done many and will make a video if you wish. I am displacing just under 2LPM with this cell and NO PWM.
Using the PWM I am displacing slightly less but I don't over heat.
Hey smack great VID's! I new to the you tube exspereince but have been following the achivements of many through the years, I was in const all my life and should have been in science so i know LITTLE! I need schematics to build a PWM that I can read on the computor or have someone send me The ones I have been able to down load so far Are WAY to complicated for me and the ones that are not are too blurry to BET on doing RIGHT. any help would be GREAT!
why is teh flow meter jumpin like that? can you put 2 PWMs pulsing 180 degrees from each other to make the flow a little more moderated, or less jumpy? or am i missing something.
I could do 2 PWM as long as I had two cells. The point of the PWM is to prevent runaway heat.
If you ran two smacks in a 4" PVC T then you could wire both to its own PWM and fire them off 180 deg apart to smooth the gas. I think if you fired one booster with two PWM you might get run away heat.
Hi, Smack here. Unfortunately that meter is not calibrated for hydroxy, so your reading is not accurate. A PWM does not increase production - in fact it reduces production. the only advantage to a PWM is that it reduces current and runaway heating, giving the user better current control. I wish one could say that it increases production but it does not. The most accurate measurement method is the inverted bottle test. Try it, you will see what I mean. Nice work, though!
Hi Smack, I just want to personally say thank you for such great design. I completely agree with your comments. As you stated the meter is made for AIR not HHO. I am displacing just under 2 LPM with a water bottle test. Of course you are correct about my PWM I do get slightly less gas production but control runaway heating.
Thanks again for all you have done and give to the world! Regards, Mike
im looking for an update, how far did you get with HHO in your wifes 2007 dodge minyvan?
any MPG's??

sorry dude unless it is calibrated for hho it IS not accurate, bottle test that bad boy.

Excellent results. PWM seems to augment the electrolysis just like HHO augments the petrol. Who makes the modulator?
dreamwhileyousleep 3 years ago
Does the 555 pwm ajust the apms as well as the pulse?
asphix1976 3 years ago
No my PWM circuit only adjusts the pulse width. my water / Lye mixture controls my amps. I run ~20amps.

Once again, well documented.also the Ozzies used to have their "gear" out front like that.

Wouldn't the flow meter toggling between 0 and 2 LPM be an average of 1LPM?
swoodard23 3 years ago
But it also bounces as high as 4 LPM at times. I will do some displacement tests to be more accurate. Regards

love the science experiment hangin of the grill!!! =]
quote Dr Emmett Brown-Back to the Future
"It's a science experiment"
man keep your camera in the car-if the cops ever pull ya up and say
"wtf is that hangin off your grill?"
thats what ya gotta say,and video it.
5 stars =]
