Try doing a Google search for "Stress Call" and you have no entries on it being the word for a "looping call" only a few random entries like this one. Do a search for "Distress Call" on the other hand and you get the wiki entry for "distress signal": "an internationally recognized means for obtaining help.", "...commonly made by using radio signals..."

This has to be one of the best scenes of the show. It has a really creepy air about it. I agree with Moollii, seeing this scene was one of the things that made me a fan (I saw season 1 when it ran reruns).

When I hear this again I think the first iteration is: 72942531
But then, it isn't 16 years ago since the message is being send.
The second time when you hear the iteration voice he is saying iteration: 172942532
This would take the numbers much closer to 16 years, but why didn't they say the 1 the first time?
