I wonder how many in the anti-war movement support with "their" taxes that which they morally oppose? Al Haig, Secretary of State under Reagan, has been quoted as saying, "Let them march (i.e. protest) all they want, as long as they continue to pay their taxes." Gandhi was a proponent of withholding of taxes that supported tyrannical ends. Jesus overthrew, two different times, the tables of dishonest, monopolistic profiteers. If those who oppose injustice would stop supporting it, it would end.

armed combat is necessary for a lot of things, but to say our system is perfect, is just wrong.

well, i agree the system isnt completely perfect, no problem there, i just have a prob with ppl who 'throw out the baby with the bathwater' and would like our country to just sit there with no defense and allow the muslims and other agressors to do whatever they want with no opposition.

this is where i dont understand what you mean. if anything, we are not strong enoug in our defense. sure there are a few very obscure isolated problems, but compared to the big picture, the USA doesnt deal half as harshly with our enemies as they do with us. well...first of all, USA shouldn't be invading other countries for profit or anything they claim they do it for, so, maybe ppl will not treat americans as bad as they do, (and this is your opinion, because in my understanding americans can be as brutal), and they will be happy in their homes doing something more productive, instead of killing ppl all around the globe. First, the system is FAR from perfect. Second, I am also VERY anti-war yet PRO-STRONG military. Nothing was defensive about INVADING Iraq.. NOT ONE THING. Allow Muslims?.. and other? Fanatical white boys blew up a building in Oklahoma, did you know what religion they followed? Did you/do you care? Do you know or care what religion the guy that crashed a plane into the IRS building was? It is convenient to forget our governments agression and focus on teh crimes of others.
