  • emancipator + sadistik! pure eargasm

  • last verse deserves to go down in hiphop's history. inspirational.

  • He has some serious time on every track... My faith in music is renewed

  • Comment removed

  • Is this really one whole track? Or simply 3-in-1?

  • @Knewklear all one :D

  • This brought tears to my eyes.

  • wow

  • Music isn't made for me of beat and melody,

It's there to gouge out feelings that allow us to see.

Thank you Sadistik, you inspire me.

  • <3 Poet <3

  • Fuckin masterpiece this song is. Respect

  • Sounds like slug but with better backing tracks. Now he just needs to team with Kno from cunninlynguists and bring Eyedea back. Then I'd never take my headphones off...

  • Left elbow like damn fool.. Shit's righteous.

  • He sounds like Slug.

  • This is a really good song. I was a fan of emancipator then i heard about sadistik....then i needed new pants...

  • fuckingg amazinggg! :)

  • This is the reason I still listen to hip-hop. Lyrical genius and its amazing how so much emotion can be put into one song. Its funny how a song about someones life can be so relate-able to everyone else. That last verse just gets me every time, Sadistik is probably my favorite rapper of all time along with Grieves. They're real and help everyone through the tough times in life.

  • This is fucking insane

  • Plina de viata.

  • I think i listened to this a hundred times already. Never gets old and I never get tired of it. This is stuff that endures. Epic stuff right here.

  • Clean.

  • A true poet! One of the best! If you don't like....listen to the radio!!! This is real!

  • And people think Em is the only hot white MC BWAHAHAHAHA I call them pop fans. White is just a color, But, These emcee's are SO much better than Eminem, and never get the shine

  • And I'm thankful, that I am who I am, and I've been where I've been and I came out grateful..when it's finally time to make an exit, just know, that I don't regret a single second.

  • Anyone else hear a bass line reminiscent to Mac Lethal's Earth By Earth in the beginning? Amazing song, love the flavor and the atmosphere.

  • goosebumps 0:00-8:04

  • yup him and goretex r beast not same genre but beast

  • One of the best rap songs I've ever heard!

  • @NeverBeBored08

    absoluut

  • @NeverBeBored08 i dont even call it rap anymore...to me,this is poetry.

  • Just discovered Sadistik, sounds like I'm in for a treat. :)

  • @sicx19 He's the truest shit you'll ever listen to

  • I think the reason that sadistik isn't well known is because his vocabulary is too vast for today's society--I'm not saying this is a bad thing to have, if anything it's sad that others can't comprehend this lyrical genius.

  • onee of the most beautiful songs i'vee ever heard

never fails to bring a tear to myy eye

  • is...is this rap? i never heard anything like this before....i always hated rap/hip hop but this is really fuckin amazin, i never heard anything like it, im more of a gothie, and i love this shit, are you sure this is rap ?

  • @echosplash sure is. check out eyedea, atmosphere, brother ali, grieves, common market, aesop rock... there's a ton of good shit out there

  • Comment removed

  • @echosplash This is music. This is poetry. This is emotion. This is life. This is hip hop. This is an escape from reality.

  • @MirrorImageLimits This is... the exception to everything.

  • @MirrorImageLimits I envy you for considering this an escape from reality. I agree with the rest of what you said however.

  • @MirrorImageLimits This isn't an escape from reality. It is reality.

  • @MirrorImageLimits No, this is actually facing the cold reality.

  • @echosplash Yeah, trust me, so much poetic Hip-Hop is out there, you just have to find it and the best place to look is NOT the radio/BET/MTV. I've discovered a myriad of MCs who are true to the game! I suggest Gift of Gab, Mr. Lif, Insight, Edan, Brother Ali, Del The Funky Homosapien, One Be Lo, Aceyalone, Common, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, Black Thought, Pharoahe Monch, Cise Starr, Nujabes, J Dilla, etc.

  • Chills

  • @ratedfx where did you get the album???

  • oh my god... that just blew my mind. and i NEVER use that phrase lightly. this man is a genius and this song is a master piece...

cant wait to hear the rest of the album---

  • Everything up to 3:07 is great. After that, everything is just damn amazing.

  • my new fav artist, much respect from australia

  • For those that don't know, Emancipator was one of the producers for this song. (He was also the producer for a couple of other songs on the album.)

  • I stumbled upon this track, and it fucking changed my life, Sadistik is a freakin' genius, so is Emancipator.

  • @COberstIsGod i know what ur saying i nearly started crying when i heard this. got the chills.

  • I hope you took emancipators beats legally..

  • @GTPIVAN its legal to vocal any beat whatsoever! however its not legal to sell it afterward :)

  • @GTPIVAN

of course he did. him and emancipator get along just fine. plus the download for this beat is only one dollar.

  • @GTPIVAN this is the original and emancipator took the beat from this

  • @ratedfx - What? Soon It Will Be Cold Enough came out in 2006 and The Balancing Act came out in 2008. What are you smoking?

  • @Creixhitme hahaha :D:D i know emancipator made the beat before this album but when i said it i had listened only 2 songs from emancipator so didnt know so much about him, but now ive listened sadistik & emancipator a lot :)

  • @ratedfx - That's completely cool with me. Just like to give Emancipator the respect he deserves, guy's a genius.

  • @Creixhitme yes, emancipator = amazing music, cant describe it with words. Anthem & Nevergreen are the #1 favourites of mine :)

  • @ratedfx - Yeah, he's a genius, I love every single track on the album. I think First Snow's gonna have to take first place for me though :o

  • Beautiful and Innocent, ... (I Love That Verse)

  • bad sound quality

  • @206robert206

    it sounds fine to me.

  • @YourBadAtRap

ya it was the computer i was using at a community center

    it does sound fine though

but before it sounded like a bad radio signal

  • Another amazing artist.

  • New this guy when he was a little kid.... Cody.... Never knew what a talent he would have become! Good job Cody!

  • real lyracist right here.

  • Love to Sadistik, Emancipator, and KCC!

  • this is real music

  • i met Sadistik threw mutal friend and have been friends sense. nothing like a playlist full of him to make any day heavenly.

  • Sadistik is a good friend of mine and yet I still love his music with a very un-bias ear. I think this song is perfect. I think very few songs are perfect. He captured EXACTLY what he wanted to with this. Exactly what I wanted him to say he said, and I had no idea what I wanted him to say. Incredible.

  • @caswunn

youre a friend of his? thats awsome. :)

    where are you guys from?

  • @piction456

    sadistik is from seattle,wa

  • I was waiting to find someone to tare it up on an emancipator beat.

  • the collaboration with him and emancipator is killer.

  • He speaks to my soul. Hard.

  • @neomixxx1 fuck yea he does

  • @SadistiksPeople Hell yes !

  • @neomixxx1 no matter what song it is of his something in it is in a way like me

  • @SadistiksPeople I agree, this boy knows how to speak to your soul. Music that does that grips you. and never lets you go. Sadistik is somebody i need to see above all artist i love before i die... It would be very wrong not too. :)

  • the love this song its fucking amazing this guy is a fucking beast! love youre music

  • Most under rated rapper ever

  • Comment removed

  • 3:07 to 4:55 is one of the best thing I've heard in hiphop. The Balancing Act & The Art Of Dying are masterpieces.

  • @kayfoo no doubt man

  • @kayfoo Ican't agree more it's beautiful

  • @kayfoo indeed, sad that he aint famous yet..

  • @kayfoo its a sample from an emancipator song called greenland

  • does anyone know if just the intrumental part of this song is released? i know about nevergreen at the end. but i just cant find the first and middle beats.

  • @NOSZII

the middle one is Greenland by Emanciptor.

on the CD "safe in the steep cliffs"

  • madd ILL

  • wheres that guitar from? i heard it before from this dude name Lon-all around the world shis ill also but woow..i just stumbed on to this ..im glade i clicked the wrong thing

  • Wow.....

  • cant stop listening to this

  • its pure art from the soul.

  • love there music just wish i could download it :(

  • @jjf1805 youtubedownloader. Use that, download, and use the same program to reformat to mp3. Easy as that

  • i lost my shit when "nevergreen" came on at the end.

    i love it.

    emancipator makes incredible beats/music.

add that to the fact that sadistik is a great lyricist & you have some nice tunes.

  • @cmac2191

Agreed. I almost cried when nevergreen cut in it threw me for a loop!

    this is a beautiful track!

  • fire

  • NEW SADISTIK!!! "Ghost in the Machine"

  • sounds like ATMOSPHERE

  • @LKdot007 the first part is similar smooth style with a relaxed voice..but lyric wise not really and a little later definatly not

  • To me, the best part begins from 2:32 ... So melodic...

  • Holy shit; "I remember when my Mom use to like to me. I remember when my Dad use to lie to me. I remember when my teachers use to lie to me. Maybe that's why I have no faith in society." Fucking true! except my Dad is honest.

  • The best duo ever, sadi and emancipator..

  • @danielvutran I also resolve to the notion that there is no best rapper. That music that we love is all subjective. If somebody has a higher intelligence than another, the music favorites will also be different. So since the mainstream never claims to be deep or intelligent, I cant look down upon them. Your right, but still doesnt defeat the fact that I think mainstream music is still bullshit lol

  • @danielvutran I understand what you are saying. But personally for me, when i have found something that is more in depth and has a greater purpose in opposition to something else. I can never go back and I kind of naturally look down upon them, which is not really a good thing lol. But I completely understand.

  • @danielvutran Im not talking about rhythm or personal styles. Im talking about music that does more than just entertain, but rather enlighten an individual. Im not just talking about this song though. And yes sir, Ive never heard a song that enlightened me on the radio. Only the underground

  • Peeople listen to lil wayne and drake 'cause they can easily get theyre hands on it but theyre too lazy to search for good artists like this

  • awe-some

  • This is probably the only rapper since Tupac that I can listen to without wanting to shoot myself.

  • @SicSociophobiac biggie was better than tupac....

  • @pizzaman3210

    Do I care?

    ...

Nah, not really. Nice try, though.

  • @SicSociophobiac try for wat? lol saying biggie was better so check him out lol u liked pac just saying biggies better imo so you might enjoy it

  • @pizzaman3210 Big was not better than tupac. You can say that cuz its your opinion. Pac had a better message through his music. His voice, and variety made him a great rapper. Big's flow was straight ill, hands down better than pacs...ask any serious person who knows rap. Big was great in the sense his flow and rhyming were so onpoint & great to listen too. But people say Pac was better because of he didnt just rap like big, he was like a poet. They both were great but u cant say one is better

  • @DylanTDWP poet or not lol first hes a gangster then hes the lords sheep, then hes a gangster then hes a preacher then a gangster then dead...

  • @pizzaman3210 Ohh sorry man i meant that for SicSociophobiac not you, cus he was directing that biggie was better, which was his opinion...i was just saying hard to compare:/

  • @DylanTDWP no lol it was me that sed it he just sed he didnt care

  • @pizzaman3210 haha Ohh my bad bro i mixed it...but i agree with u man I personally think Biggie has better flow and i like bumping his songs more.

  • @DylanTDWP lol u heard the mix of party an bullshit and party in the usa lol its actually a dope beat for his flow when it opens with biggie i used to have the tre dueuce in ma bubblegoose now i got the mac in ma knapsack i always thot that was a sick rhyme lol

  • @pizzaman3210 Yeah bro i know every word to that song for real...but Party in the USA beat? Nahh man the original will always be 100 times better and more of that grimey oldshool.......haha but i get what ur saying

  • look these artists up man theres so much talent out there no need to shoot yourself heres a ton of talent.. shad, j-live, p.o.s, the loyalists, slug, brother ali, classified, dl incognito, blue scholars, grieves, mr lif, akrobatik, mf doom, eyedea, blueprint, el-p, c-rayz walz, aesop rock, cannibal ox, cage, tame one, yak ballz, kennstarr, jay electronica, cunninglinguist, people under the stairs, torae, sean price, ra the rugged man, vinnie paz, apathy, phi life cypher, one be lo, percee p...

  • anywhere i can download this music?

    his lyrics are amazing.

  • I just got chills.

  • Hell ya, he uses an emancipator beat in the last segment!!

  • ill song! Tha Soloist used that last beat. Nevergreen produced by Emancipator.

  • These beats are definitely something else...

His style is also great, love how he rhymes words within the lines.

  • @ampedsixstring heck ya lyrical structure

  • incredible. nuff said.

  • The dude is an amazing lyricist. I can't stop listening to this song!

  • why haven't we heard more about this guy. fucking amazing.

  • The violin or the cello?

  • After listening to this track I knew i hav to buy the album- just fell in love with it!!

One of Sadistiks masterpieces, a rare gem in todays music business.

  • Brilliant :) I showed this to one of my mates, he said he prefered 50 cent. I laughed.

  • Comment removed

  • why aint this song on limewire?????? ahhhh

  • dude wow, just buy it he freakin deserves it. plus you seem like a fan since your user name is sadistik, unless you are literally sadistik as in you like pain, but at least buy a song

  • i bought the entire album off of itunes but it got deleted off my ipod touch so i was like fuck it, im not rebuyin it

  • oh i see, yeah i but his album too, that does suck man and that makes sense, Google how to convert a youtube video into an mp3 =]

  • throw away iPod touch, its a toy not a proper mp3 player

  • What the fuck? The music in the end.. It's Emancipator's "nevergreen"?!

  • if i'm not mistaken, all three are emancipator's beats. he and sadistik have done work together prior to this.

check out "ashes to ashley" by sadistik and mac lethal on another emancipator beat.

  • @RELeviathan

you know...emancipator made the beats for this whole album, right?

  • Oh.. I didn't know.. But it's awesome! :D

  • dude, Emancipator does all of sadistiks beats

  • I see..

  • No, shit. Clearly. But Sadistik does all the lyrics. and his lyrics are brilliant. this dude should make it big.

  • No.. He should stay where he's at. Fuck the general public..they can keep people like Lil Wayne. We get Sadistik.

  • not all. Kid Called Computer did a few tracks on The Balancing Act. He's also doing The Art of Dying EP with KCC, "Karma By Candlelight" is with Emancipator. Yes, TWO new records!
