A computer technician would know that pressing any key could trigger different actions other than just restarting Windows. What if his screen displayed information about formatting the computer and asked "press any key to continue"? If she just told him to press Enter without knowing exactly what's happening he would end up losing all his data, and the lady could be sued for providing help where she is not supposed to. The lady was very smart and calm, not dumb like those who enjoyed this.
