it's a tradition for Chinese to get Pakistan pilots and engineers involved in designing aircraft because Pakistanis provide many western aspects from their experiences with western weapons.
also, they have alot real war experences.
Pakistan also gave Chinese their first F-16 and many other western weapons to study.
J-10 will go to Pakistan for sure, and i will not be surprised if Pakistani shot down an indian fighter with J-20 in the future.

@ltmikepowell The LCA may be anything but LCA now. It has gotten complicated, heavy & expensive. Pakistan commenced the JF-17 much after India & test-flit within four years. Our objectives were clear & we achieved. Of late, after failing with primary designs, India involved JF-17 feature into the LCA when we are already working on variants. Other 'indigenous' Indian product like the Arjund tank suffered the same fate, while Pakistan's AlKhalid is inducted, selling, exercising & fighting.

But with upgrades and some R&D, AK-47 has became a lethal weapon and the later version can be as good as any contemporary. Fortunately, both China and Pakistan chose simplicity in first place and from then on develop. I read some history of LCA, in fact India got her chance to simplify the design for faster development a few years back, sadly we know how LONG it has gone.

Most Indians I have known claim indigenization while in reality incorporating French, Israeli & Russian technology with their LCA, even copying a JF17 wing feature. LCA is still testing & their Arjund tanks are stalling due to weight problems whereas our JF17s and Al-Khalid tanks are participating in live action and doing well.

LCA has been excellent in above mentioned points along with flying.. additionally it will be fitted with Indigenous integrated life support system that'll make it much more solid and stable as fighter.. Let's see what this plane boasts..but it is chings made though engine and some other stuff is from other countries!

the fighter flies shoots can b used for a variety of roles including cas unlike mki which is for air superiorty alone. jf has room for upgrade that 1 plane wid cheap avionics while another plane wid better avionics but both of them armed wid the same weapons r still different. plus jf can support most of chinese russian & western missiles.
