Your an idiot and have no knowledge of chemistry. You did not use sodium chloride, since it has no oxygen in its molecule to support aluminum combustion. Now, if you had sodium chlorate, NaClO3, Now, then there is oxygen to support the combustion. Learn what the fuck you are talking about before you just start postin' shit. Flash powder is stable.

until you drop it, hit it, or subject it to any form of heat, electricity or percussion. Sensitivity does depend on the mix but it is still too dangerous to store in practically any form.

I'm not trying to be contrary but I've done the drop and hit test and nothing happened. As for electricity, I believe you're right on the money. I sprayed anti-static spray around the area I was working in when I was making explosives a year and a half ago and I also still have some of the explosives I made. I guess flash powder isn't completely stable because it could be set of by static.

what type of flash powder mix are you using? Because all of the ones I have made have been fairly sensitive, depending on particle size and how well they were mixed.
