The blood on the necklace is a possible match for Damien's as well as one of the victims. This isn't a shocker as the test performed on it isn't specific and implies that the blood could have come from a large percent of the population.

It all boils down to this. These teens were found guilty without any physical evidence tying them to the crime. The prosecution must prove guilt beyond reasonable doubt. I don't see how a jury could convict. No physical evidence equals Reasonable Doubt.
