The voice acting sucks. In MI part 3 when they started have voice it was totaly ok, THIS sound more like totaly gay. Some elements seems also lame like Embargo guy. UH before he was like cocky 35-45 years old now he is old fart like 70-80. Well this remaster is still good for download :-). Nah i can pay 2-5 euro for it. Just because it's a classic.

I think they should have done a new monkey island in this "old style" instead. The old games are classics and contains great pussels but doing a remake is just lame. Now they're starting a flame war old vs SE and a lot of fans is going to compare what parts are missing and so on.. boring, make a new great story intead!!

IMO this is the best game in the series, but I'm admittedly nostalgically biased.

Regardless, it's a larger game. It's a bit wittier and a few laugh out loud moments, but if you didn't like the humor in the first game, maybe you won't like the humor in this game, either.

Schafer is funny as hell. The commentary alone is a bit lacking, but what is there is great stuff.

Is this any better than 1st part ? "Tales of Monkey Island" is great and I was very disappointed finding out its prequel not too funny and quite boring, not to mention short gameplay.

I think the new edition looks great and Dominic's voice surely is a great asset to the game. Still, I think that Guybrush's old look (kind of stout with cute beady eyes) was way better.
