  • Bonjour,

J'aimerait savoir a combien elle allait avant d'etre modifié car je compte m'en acheter une.

    Merci d'avance pour ta reponse.

    Coordialement, @ mOtOenforce.

  • you really must let them warm up first before you go revvin the shit outta them i had to learn the hard way and blew one of these up rather quickly gotta say i do miss my old bike :(

  • Is it a original motor ? :O I have heard that, mito´s going too around 170-180km/h ? :O

  • @tobbepal

Yeah it's an original motor, but with only 6 gears, and 28mm carb. The older version had a 35mm carb and 7 gears, and could take 190 kmh approximatly ;)

  • @razgrizyoda

okej okej ... But what year are this bike from ? :)

  • @tobbepal

Mine was a 2001 model, search cagiva mito on wikipedia, you'll see all the history and all models of this great bike !

  • @razgrizyoda

    Okej =)

Thanks for the informations ! :D It was realy necessary, becouse i think that i gonna buy a mito or a Yamaha R125 in summer :)

  • @tobbepal

The R125 has really nothing to compare with the mito ! Mito is a 2 stroke engine, same as 125cc motogp, very performant and powerfull, but not very relaible.

R125 has a 4 stroke engine, 2 times less powerfull than the mito, it isn't a bad motorcycle, but it is not fast enough ^^

  • @razgrizyoda

Yes I know that, but i love the appearance at R125, but not so much the engine ... Thats i have Decision anxiety :P

  • @tobbepal

The new mito, the SP525 is just SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET !! :P

  • @razgrizyoda

haha, i know, but im just 16 ;)

  • 7 speed?

  • Here's how to fix this problem...

    1)Clean carburettor jets

2)Clean air box - dirt in airbox sponge = dirty carb... oil the airbox sponge

3)Check idle speed screw... If screw makes no difference, check the throttle slider for wearing (Where the idle speed screw adjusts it)

4)Replace E.C.U - makes bike cut out easily (during speeds though)

  • @Copywrightmyass1 Also forgot to add that it could be low compression...

If in doubt go Halfords and get a compression tester £25, it took me ages to justify buying one but it costs me in useless parts that didn't fix the bike

  • Ta moto est bridée?

  • Elle est brider ta machine?

  • It's depo. And there is no carb problem. Why do you think there is a problem ? Maybe I need to check my carb's jets.

  • This Mito has a great problem of carburation.

You make to make the carburation to a mechanic and will see that it will go very better.

    ( DEPO OR FULL? )
