Great video! im going roadtripping my self in 2013. so i would really like to know what 2:37 is? and where it is at. it looks awazing, and i would really like to visit.
this really does sum up the incredible experience of usa, :') how long did it take you to do this trip coz me adn 2 mates are planning on going on a road trip with a hired rv and were 18 :P

@slippyfist2405 We made a list of what we wanted to visit and used google maps to see how far we could get on each day. Then we made reservations at hotels for each night and booked the flights. No travel company involved.
i want to organize a road trip with some friends from italy traversing europe getting in USA traversing that to, and end up in california XD crazy dream......
@TforceNab05 What concerns you about flying? A general fear of flying or do you just not like long flights? The UK to the US is really quite short, perhaps not to your European standards though, but still its very easy. You should try Australia to Europe sometime, almost 20 hours on a plane, its alright if you manage to sleep, but even then its a pretty incredible experience. You should definitely go visit the US as soon as you can :]
@ryanaus04 Hi Ryan. I don't have a fear as such, but long flights I would find a nightmare. With me, it's the turbulence that makes me go white. I think what doesn't help is not seeing the Pilots, and having that seatbelt icon come on at times makes me a bit of a worrier. If I could see the Pilots are calm, I could be calm! I just have visions in my mind that the Pilots could be struggling with the controls etc. haha. I know they are never quick to let you know of any problems!
I almost did the same trip last summer, but we never got to see Monument Valley, the crater or Bryce Canyon which I hope to see on a road trip next year :) Great video! I really would like to know what software you use to edit your video? We get great quality from the camera, but it does not come out that way when I´m done editing...
@DreamOnTT I used Premiere Pro CS5 to do mostly contrast modification and color correction. Then there is a slight vignette effect and I did some transformations to stabilize the shaky parts. Most effort went into synchronizing the scenes with the music though.
@shoup1116 the video was shot with a Canon Ixus 100 IS compact digital camera. it's cheap, small and has a good quality for bright outdoor scenes. on the other hand, the footage becomes a bit shaky when filming from bare hands, as you can see in the video. have fun on your trip :)
