So idk if it was the meta game at the time or what but why didn't anyone get a shivas? I feel like it could have helped a lot against phantom. I mean it gives armor, slows attack speed and has a large aoe active that slows even more. Was it even in the game at the time? Also I personally love sven carry and actually play him in the current meta but I like to transfer from mask to satanic before I get buriza. Is this viable?

A few other notes:

-Lol Ian trying to get Luminous a gf. We don't want that, we'd never see him again!

-Luminous, did you ever play on Smogon? I used to play but 5th gen (and introduction of Arceus to Ubers) was such a turnoff that I stopped.

DotA was such a different game without the BB cooldown. It really makes teamfights less important and heroes like Tidehunter pretty worthless. Lose a hero in a major engagement-->no problem, they have loads and loads of gold.

No dust and lack of push power--> farm your heart out all game. Unless your wards are terribly misplaced, you can't get ganked.

What I'm wondering is why BH/Clinks weren't picked more. Dodging wards and taking out supports would be huge.

CLASSIC game. Anyone who hasn't seen the Chinese commentary (with subtitles) done by 2009 should view it on YouTube. I believe it's separated in like 6 or 7 parts, and the video quality is pretty low, but it's interesting listening to 2009 discussing the game.
