wow so nice and simple. tell me something do all soaps need lye? i am still new ate this and trying to understand the process i will soon start making some soaps too but i heard that you need to put lye in you soap making process.
The one you have been watching is melt and pour soap - it is a base made elsewhere. The lye is used when you take fats or oils and turn them into soap yourself - it's quite dangerous and I avoid that by using bases.
I cut the colour block and put added while the soap is still hot - it melts into the white soap and the colour will depend on the quantitiy you add. Pouring it over the white that was poured in first moved it a bit, but you can see from the finished soap that it softens the look.
WAAAAAAAOOOOOOO! How beautiful your soap. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. I make my own soaps and i'll check that website to see what they have. I'm looking for angels mold.
