I always loved zombies, and when I went to see this in the theaters way back when, I loved it. This scene was especially good, It made me wonder what I would do if I saw this guy walking down my street.
This is a super creepy shot of a zombie, combined w/ that music. I was a teenager working @t a drive movie theater when this came out & part of my job was to patrol the lot, making sure everything was safe & sane. There were woods & a beach surrounding us on 3 sides & let me tell you, it was unnerving walking around by myself, watching this on screen, imagination running. Sometimes kids would sneak through the woods trying to hop the fence & get in. All I could think of was zombies invading.
I agree! I was 12 when I went to see this in a theater and this scene especially creeped me out! At night I would think of a rotten looking bastard like this walking down my street.
I agree totally. Fulci's storylines where a little basic perhaps but his technique and cinematography is all his, and really brings the dead to life. Truly eerie!
i think this film is eerie, and creepie. but the cinematography was pretty basic, but neat. but nothing to be excited about. Like t this shot is alright, but he shouldn't have gone into that close-up, and he rarely did a shot like that.
i would fuck this zombie in the ass!

If they did re-make it, no doubt no one would be over 20, and title re-named 'I know what you did last summer on that Island called Matul'.
