If he did, then where was the drama? One of the judges were biased towards Oscar, which was expected, but I don't even see Oscar winning 4 rounds, nor do many other people. Mayweather landed the more accurate punches, and the harder punches. He almost knocked Oscar down twice in that fight, both in rounds 5 and 12.
And stop using Marquez's age as an excuse. He was still at top form. He knocked his last two opponents, and many people think he won his rematch against Manny Pacquiao(I actually disagree with them). Marquez was simply not as great, nor as crafty as Mayweather. And the weight also gave Mayweather an advantage, since Marquez never faught in that division before.

Marquez was not past his prime. He came off two knock out victories over good fighters like Juan Diaz and Joel Casamayor. He couldn't stand up to Mayweather's speed, defense, and power. It was pure mismatch, and proved that Mayweather is one of the best fighters of this era. And if he beats Pac Man, then he's definitely an all time great.

Oscar wasn't over the hill, and Mayweather had no trouble against him. He was basically toying with Oscar, and I barely gave Oscar 3 rounds in that whole fight. Marquez was completely prepared for Mayweather, he just wasn't great enough to beat him.

I'm not a Mayweather fan, I'm a pure boxing fan, and I see everything from an objective point of view. Mayweather gave Oscar a boxing lesson, and had no trouble at all. If he did, then where was the drama? One of the judges were biased towards Oscar, which was expected, but I don't even see Oscar winning 4 rounds, nor do many other people. Mayweather landed the more accurate punches, and the harder punches. He almost knocked Oscar down twice in that fight, both in rounds 5 and 12.

Marquez was simply not as great, nor as crafty as Mayweather. And the weight also gave Mayweather an advantage, since Marquez never faught in that division before.

if pac beats cotto floyd would never fight pac.he would not even face cotto before because he is afraid of him how much more the guy who beat cotto.why did floyd avoid cotto?i don't believe any other reason except that he will be beaten by cotto and he will be destroyed by the guy who will beat cotto.just beat 1 of the 3 guys to prove your worth pal.cotto,mosely,marg.just one of the 3 and as fans we got nothing.NOTHING!
