All those big chunks of meat/potatoes ... how is it that when I buy those kinda things in my Asian superM & open them there is like nothing to be distinguished .
More precisely Japanese style curry in packaged form from famous Japanese curry eateries all over the country. Japanese curry is a modified version of indian curry that suits Japanese taste, i.e, less greasy, less spicy and sweet. Japanese curry is one of the 3 major fast foods of Japan, the others being ramen and beef on rice. Kinda like Hamburgers and pizzas in the US. The girl in the clip is a famous TV big eater champion and she's ranking all those curries from the 47 prefectures in Japan.

Double Quarter Pounder with cheese, Five Guys large fries, Whopper, Baconator, Denny's threefer breakfast, and a Friendlies Fribble, and you are one eighth the way through the meal!!!
I think the one you buy from asia super markets is just the sauce.
