I would have to go with congressman Paul here, although not in the exact way that he expressed it. The point in my opinion is that we should be involved with these countries only to the extent that nuclear or other mass destruction weapons might become available to them, and that should be denied.

When we on the civilian side make our decisions about going to war, we have moral and indefinite-long-term considerations, not utilitarian medium-term ones. Would you prefer the U.S. military control all countries? Depends, you would say. I would say our soldiers need a better cause to die for.

I would have to go with congressman Paul here, although not in the exact way that he expressed it. The point in my opinion is that we should be involved with these countries only to the extent that nuclear or other mass destruction weapons might become available to them, and that should be denied.
And I think that Clinton was suggesting that the US has tried to do that. But its difficult when there are clear movements toward democracy.

I cited several known facts about the alleged hijackers, Saudi or not--the indestructible passport, the questionable identity of the alleged hijackers (at least six of which showed up alive & gave interviews) and the fact that our own FBI has not indicted bin Laden for the attacks because they say they have "no hard evidence" linking bin Laden. And yes, I'm from New York. Facts?

I love Ron Paul & he gets my vote for '12, but I dont agree with you about 9/11 being irrevelant! All of these warts were launched over this issue! If you lost someone on that day, then you might like to know the truth of what happened on that day. If the truth of 9/11 came out, our country would make a turn-around. imho Ron Paul would be a much better President of the USA then Obama and Bush. He is obviously not a buyout from Wall-Street. Even if he cuts welfare and medicaid. Because America would remove it´s military grip on the world and would have much more money left to help people in need.
