You seriously have to disable the 10nes chip in your NES. It will help.

It only takes a few minutes, you will spend more time taking the machine apart and putting it back together than breaking the one pin needed.

@toxicitzi -- obviously, you didn't watch the entire film. LK's RIR is far superior to AVGN's review. Of course this is my personal opinion. But, that being said, I don't see how anyone who was entertained by Nerd's review can watch this entire video and call it boring.

I see this video is a year old but I gotta say AVGN does stuff to make people laugh that's the point not playing the game to finish it.... not to be rude or anything. Like the Superman N64 video was funny and the game was really terrible.

That's the FC Twin. FC as in Famicom, the Japanese equivalent to the NES and SNES. It runs games from both consoles.

Almost! There was a pile of cushioning on the floor, but by the time I threw it down in the final clip I was legitimately frustrated with having to do so many takes and I missed the cushioning. The NES hit the floor, full force and guess what?

It still works!

It's pretty kickass. The only problem is the controller's buttons seem to be mislabeled when you're playing the NES (It feels like A and B are switched, but it might just be me).

@STEF54 Don't forget about the Generation NEX; it's compatible with NES and Famicom games and is really durable. I should know, I've had one for over two years and haven't had any problems with it.

Yea, it's funny how AVGN's fans criticize anyone who responds to his work or mimics him in any way and explains how "people should quit taking it too seriously" and his character is "just for entertainment."

Um, hello??? That's exactly what's happening here with these RIR vids. It's entertainment. The creator who plays Lord Kayoss even thanks Rolfe in the credits for inspiring these films. He isn't attacking or insulting him. It's just another form of entertainment.
