The reason he's working on the radio show is because he used to just press the buttons and Ricky got talking to him and discovered all his outlooks on life. What would he be in a mental institution for? He just sort of says the bad thoughts and is really uneducated but is really interested in learning so that's where his ideas come from. They talked about this on their radioshow a writer thought this was fake so they had to talk about it
