Well I'm unsure about Andy. his artwork has been amazing but it is limited. Remember they had to run four issues of batman inbetween grant morrison's batman and son and flashpoint was previewed over a year ago so I say Andy probably has been drawing that all this time. So long has there is no 6 month gap between issues I wont complain. Joe Kubert is cool. that reminds me I have to look out for his recent graphic novels.peace
Drawing superman was a kick ?? LOL. his drawing for DC comics was a disgrace. He took years to draw four books !!!. Then he went crawling back to marvel to draw more wolverine WTF. There's been a number of marvel guys that go to DC and make disgraces of themselves. I think its because DC editors are lame. JMS. the kuberts, sean mckeever. Finch releases his book once every four months. I'd be worried if bendis wrote for DC now after this track record.
@godginrai1 Don't blame the editors, blame the artists. For example, Marvel is very lackadasiical about when the book comes out, while DC seems to really demand the book come out on time. For example, Marvel could not do a 52, because it would take 10 years to come out. There were rare artists, like Bagley, who could actually meet a deadline, but most were late. I am also dissappointed with Adam's style change. It is not very good, compared to before. Started to go bad round UXM's debut.
@yellowcougar18 alright duly noted at the time I was wondering why so many "big name" talent at marvel when they go to DC just make disgraces of themselves and wondered if it was editorial from DC's part. I do agree that marvel could not have their own 52 (which was awesome btw). The amount of hype that surrounded these two going to DC - bet thats advertising money badly spent.
@godginrai1 Well, the sad thing is, Adam used to be the superior bro as an artist, but then Andy began overshadowing him. Which happened round Ult X-men. Yes, the hype around Adam was unwarranted, but Andy did work his butt off at DC, and is still there. He is drawing Flash, a high profile gig, and his art looks really good. Adam's stuff, however, has been poor for well over 10 years, with no sign of improvement. The saddest thing of all, I feel, is that their dad continues to grow as an artist.
