  • Amazing footage. I was five years old when this happened and I'm sorry to say I remember nothing about this.

  • GET YOUR SNICKERS ON . . .GET YOUR SNICKERS ON . . . CHEER THE EGGMAN . . .JFK A SYNTHETIC PERSON ARTIFICIALLY CREATED FROM BIO-MATTER

  • @inspectorcritic: Idiot

  • Gosh you Americans take state funerals at an amazing lick

  • Does anyone know the name of the funeral dirge at 5:59? It was used for slow march at the queen mother's funeral.

  • @4sm2use Beethoven. It is also traditionally played each year on Remembrance Sunday, immediately after The Queen and Royal Family have laid their wreaths at the Cenotaph.

  • Cool drum cadence, but it is not the right one. The navy choir was actually singing at the white house lawn when the procession returned from the capitol.

  • The list of all the music plalyed during the funeral and who played it is found at the President Kennedy Library Website

  • respect JFK RIP, evil forces behind curtain are still in power, we the people need to change this power structure forever for peace

  • I was only 9 when this happened. I came home from school that day and my mom was crying. Tragic times.

  • 4:48: Looks like he has a cell phone.

  • What is the name of the piece starting at around 6:01 or so? That is an awesome march.

  • I believe it's a march called Our Fallen Heroes

  • @davcat76

Thanks - I thought that was the title, but wasn't too sure.

  • What are the names of the songs you picked. Awsome work !!!!!

  • Hi. The songs are from the original soundtrack. I'll try to find the ''soundtrack'' info.

  • Thank you so much

  • @HelmerReenberg How did you acquire this color footage of JFK's funeral? I vividly recall watching the funeral as an 8 year old boy in black and white.

  • @TheTweeter53 What I have from CBS was in black & white too. Now I've seen NBC's in color though but was it color at the time or was it 'touched up later'?

  • Where'd you find this? BTW, I recommended you to DavidVonPein, who's also a JFK buff.
