no doubt toho is one smart guy. but it doesnt mean hes smarter than heidi, a lot of it has to do with the "ability" to buzz in. u cant really tell whos smarter on jeopardy.

Hi, this is Heidi, the one who won this game. I was sure I'd lose; I was having big trouble ringing in, and Toho was so great at geography.
I was shocked; I had totally guessed the answer. You'll see that I told Toho "I'm so sorry."
He's a great guy and very gracious; we have remained in touch ever since.
He was thinking of Saragosa, Spain.
As for the rule, well, the answer was not correct. MIsspellings are OK if they don't change the syllables or pronunciation--this error did.

Hey Heidi. Toho guessed at the answer too, but he said his whole life he had thought the Sargasso Sea had an extra 'a' (and syllable) in it. Clearly you all knew those are the rules, you won fair & square but from my perspective it still sucked. :-p
