that looked so clean! nice! I had the same problem with my 7. got film of 50 catches and the throw right before the 50th catch was at about 4-5 ball height which blew up my pattern, but it looked so clean I coulda beat my record of 53
I did 30 throws/23 catches about 2,5 years ago, but seeing as this video was 22 catches I'll call this my personal best. This one looked better anyway.
I might have been lucky. Remember I still haven't beaten my record for 2,5 years, and that record was set about 4-6 months after I first flashed 9 balls, about 3 years ago...
nice job. that's great! I am still using the 3" sportco. for 6 and 7b juggling, like you suggested. i am still getting used to them with 7 for sure, but haven't been practicing that much b/c i am training to joggle a marathon in November.
Yeah, one of the beanbags landed a bit off where I wanted it in my hand. These 2 5/8" beanbags are a bit small for 9, so I'm getting 2.75" ones. When I use 3" beanbags I can never run it for this long and the pattern does always get too wide, but I never have bad catches with them.
These beanbags are too small, so the chances of bad catches are huge. 2 5/8" beanbags are a bit small for 9, so I'm getting 2.75" which seems to be close to the ideal size.
wtf first it looks just like 7 ballls!

thats still an awesome record.
How long was it between your first flash and your first qualify?
janionnevill 2 years ago
I'd say probably about two months. Maybe three.
Yomay 2 years ago
really? i was expecting much longer than that

hey r those sportco bags? And what size would you recommend for 5, 6, and 7 balls?
aaronthejuggler 2 years ago
Marit's channel says, Sondre says "yes. 3", 3" and 2.75".
Perbia 2 years ago
haha... when non-jugglers ask me how many balls I can juggle I used to say, "eight, sorta"
but now I say, "27, solid" ...they don't know the difference!
Qualifying 9 is quite an accomplishment! Sondre rules!
thegoheads 2 years ago
That's an excellent idea.

Looks like a good pattern. Good technique. What happened at the end? You caught one wrong. With me it nearly always gets too wide.

Yomay 2 years ago
wouldn't you want smaller beanbags for higher numbers.
juggliac 2 years ago
Of course not. Why?
Yomay 2 years ago
no, I mean smaller than you use for less like 6 or 7, because you need to be able to hold more in your hands.
juggliac 2 years ago
You can hold 4" beanbags in your hands quite easily.
Yomay 2 years ago
4''? You must have big hands, I have trouble even using 2.7 in. beanbags for juggling any more than 5.
juggliac 2 years ago
Idk, I use 3" for seven just fine.
ClarkeSurrey 2 years ago
teah, I am only 15 though, so I got a couple of years to grow still.
juggliac 2 years ago
amazing =D nice clean run but sloppy at the end but still great!
kennyjuggling 2 years ago
the pattern is very symmetrical and clean until you hit the qualify, then it got sloppy and fell apart.... oh well.
Glad I've seen you juggle 9 now!
juggliac 2 years ago
