I was one of those guys and every day I feal lucky it didn't hit us. Looked far bigger in person. The initial wall of snow was close to thirty feet high before started washing out. wish we could of caught it but we were too busy trying not to die. Skiing south face on a sunny day. not cool.

who ever thinks this is "sweet" or "awesome" or whatever has never been caught in a slide at ALTA before... I have been buried in Katherines right below the chutes... I can tell you I was lucky I had a beacon and it wasnt fun or cool....

wicked slide but the highlights are washed out, would have been better if left in natural color.

Was this on Mt. Superior sometime around March 13? I think I saw this from the base of Alta. Was pretty scary looking and we all figured those guys were lucky to get out of there alive.
