  • AWESOMENESS!!!

  • vince vaughns forehead takes up half his face

  • Okay, this was a fun performance....yet I still prefer the country vocals of the British guy who wrote the lyrics.

  • Oh how I would of loved to be in that audience...

  • This is for the uuploader. Who is the man who introduces Keith? Anyone can answer

  • @danbeatless

    vince vaughn (actor)

  • This video renews my faith in Rock 'n' Roll.

  • High octane!

  • I really like this version of this old Stones tune. It's not the Stones, but a cool country version of this beautiful song. Excellent.

  • WILLIE!!!!!!!!!!

  • Un Monument de la Pop Rock ! Génial

  • This is just awesome!

  • No matter the mistakes they made, I love this version. It's up and rocking. They are having a ball performing it together.

  • There're too many sounds going on at the same time, which makes it sound kind of cheesy!

This beautiful song should be kept simple as in its original version.

  • i don't know what to say

  • What a crew, go Keith !

  • stick on the headphones, crank up the volume & this will get you in rockin mood..excellent..thanks for posting..love it..

  • Regardless of what this song is suppose to be about, its just way cool !! These guys are the real deal. It puts the U.S. mail down in rock n roll history !!

  • Misfits t-shirt for the win!

  • I think Susie wants to take these good ol boys down to Hell. What do you reckon? ...just sayin is all

  • Buy Poppies Pods on the internet. Get rid of the seeds, grind up the pods, put them in empty teabags, bring them to a boil then turn off the heat. Wait twenty minutes, drink some tea and listen to this song

  • willie keith and some cuntry a holes hum?

  • @robielv nope,i love them all.

  • keith, super chingon forever...................

  • I would not bother to argue about who played what and messed up. It's just great to get these men on a stage together. They are all having a great time doing what they love. That is good enough for me. Chilled out Scotsman talking lol.

  • OK that was about the coolest makeshift rock band since The DIrty Mac.

  • whose the doosh looking one on the left

  • I don't need to know anything about you. If you are injured or retarded I'm very sorry,Keep working on your reading skills and ,so what, sowhat and eat the corn out of my poop sandwich,It's about breaking up not dope, money or Nirvana Hope the Taco Bell job suits your skill set.Your Mom says do your laundry because you tend to be a pig undless reminded-End of discussion or in your case concussion.

  • Re-read the statement about it being a dope song. If you can read. The song is specific, you are just a pothead who can't think-or you are too young to think or are too medicated. The song is about breaking up not dope, so think before you have an opinion or go listen to nirvana. Good luck with the reading.

  • @bobmon54 yes you are correct! It`s a bout breaking up! She thinks she is better than him is how i understand the song! the lyrics say that to me.

  • @bobmon54

Actually it's about breaking up AND heroin (perhaps the poor guy is turning to drugs because of the break up). The line, "I'll be in my basement room, with a needle and a spoon" is the giveaway line. The cleverest bit is the title's double meaning, which can refer to the rotting bouquets due to the end of the relationship, and to the main ingredient of heroin, ground up poppies (literally, 'dead flowers').

  • @abandonedvideos You are right,he reference's getting loaded to get away from the heart break. he use smack and another girl to get away from the hurt. To say it's about drugs was the point if you follow the whole link.. It's a great tune.

  • Keef is Immortal!

  • veddy coooollllll!

  • willie and keef would have toked it up in willie's bus for sure!

  • Great performance by all - still can pull it off, although all of the are now "the rich friends" they sing about. Never tire of Keith and Willie, ever!

  • @kc2dtp Mick n Keef were rich folks when they wrote it as well.

  • @darlincommitme not as rich as you'd think. They lost most of their pre-Sticky Fingers money to decca, Andrew Loog Oldham, but mostly to Allan B. Klein. In fact, if they had never made another record after Get Yr. Ya Yas Out, they would've been, not just broke, in debt. Not saying they didn't live the high life, but still.

  • @RapedByRepublicans

You are right, I was just assuming. I hadn't thought about how early it was... and really don't know the Stones history all that well. Just having seen some pictures and clips from the time, I figured they had it made by then. It is all relative, too, of course. Rich compared to the average Joe, maybe.

  • @darlincommitme You missed the point entirely- it's about being left by a woman.

  • Townes!! You were THE man!! .... and no! Keef didn't write this song......

  • Funny as hell, Shelton (Hank III) was the only one keeping the lyrics together at the end of the song.

  • I love Keith Richards!! Amazing artist.

  • Keith Richards = Rock 'n Roll

  • This is INCREDIBLE!!!!

  • this is great

  • There are just too-many 'right' things going on here to count!

  • @tallpaul881 right on dude

  • Who are those other two guys?

  • @cyndycyndycyndy hank williams III .. yes grandson of THE Hank Williams it seems ..

  • keith is god. He can play anything from reggae to country!!!

  • Funny how Ryan Adams looks exactly like Keith Richards circa 1966 in this video. Maybe he's Keef's son?

  • Plays pretty good for a dead guy !!

  • Keith is the coolest MF in all of music-dom

  • This is such a great song!!!!!!!! Listen to mine if you get a chance; comments appreciated.

  • keith will never die

  • Jack Sparrow never died - So Keef won't either... the man is just music personified.

  • 最高

    Hehe

  • Daaaamn! Good group doing a great song! Keith has been getting dead flowers from journalists, zeppelin lovers, and pro-establishment freaks ever since he wrote this song. Funny how it is he is outliving many people he shouldn't, and there to put roses on their graves!

Search Clement Stephens for a good cover of "Dead Flowers," or click my page.

  • I set this as my afternoon feature; and moments later it struck me--the Subconsciouss Mind is a razor-sharp tool...

  • awesome! can't believe I've never seen this

  • Best version of this song ever. Amazing!

  • this is SWEEEEEEET.

  • YOU SHIT BANDS THAT ARE ON DISNEY.TAKE A LOOK ON HOW IT IS REALLY DONE.IT DOES NOT GET ANY BETTER

  • what a line up,,just dont get any better x

  • this is an interesting group here. just an interesting mix. Fan of all of them though

  • Anyone else think they're a really good chance keith richards just won't die? like in a thousand years or somethin he'll just be a skeleton with a telecaster n a headband

  • @GaryGuitarz93 I'm hearin' ya Gary..... and he'll still be kickin' arse making great music!! :-))

  • @GaryGuitarz93 He's busy changing into a leprechaun,so you might just be right.

Bytheway..,embarrassing to see that Ryan Adams so desperately wanting to look like Richards, in the presence of the man himself. Where's that dude's dignity ?

  • @GaryGuitarz93 Oh yeah nothing can kill that man even if he did die he would resurrect himself lol, I agree I think he may still have his telecaster and his headband on too! lol

  • @knopfler1993

Don't think Willie will die either, just fade into a singing puff of smoke. Of course at some point that hole in his guitar will require a replacement.

  • @GaryGuitarz93 -- if I get my wish, the answer is yes. Definitely.

  • I just smoked a big bag of crack tonight, right before the fuckin show!

  • Re: Ryan Adams - what kind of egomaniac starts soloing over Keith's solo? I guess he thought he could do it better. Other than that, brilliant!

  • ah ce jura que o hank williams III gosta de misfits!!!

  • This is fucking brilliant! They are weaving and this is by far the BEST version I've ever heard . They sound so tight and singing together really brings it together. Great Tune.

  • boy thats just tops there

  • My name is ryan adams, and I am on stage with Keef and Willie doing dead flowers...and I think I just creamed my pants...

  • God I hate Willie Nelson.

  • You knucklehead little kids can bitch and moan and laugh all you want, but this is GOOD. Its a good song. Its played by guys that are at the TOP of what they do. Two of them are WORLD WIDE MUSICAL LEGENDS that have already marked their place in WORLD MUSIC HISTORY. You dont have to like it. Thats fine. This song was out before MOST of you were born anyways. Its a GREAT SONG, performed by GREAT musical talents.

  • At 4:33, God-damn, goddamn...gorgeous shot of Willie just smiling at Keith Richards as Keith plays the living shit out of the song...

  • Damn this sounds good.

  • Keith is the f*cking man! this is awesome! Never thought I would see Keith perform with any of these guys, but i'm glad I found this, and he did!

  • There is nothing special but Keith.

  • @vectoryamamoto Really. well, when you make the status of the worlds greatest rock and roll band, let us know, will ya?

  • Who's the troll in the black hair? I love Keith but its not the same without Mick J

  • Why is ryan adams trying to be keith? hahaa

  • hey this is cool

  • Keef rocks . There isnt enough roses.

  • Keef rocks

  • I was just wondering to myself today if Ryan ever jammed with Keef. Question answered. THis is effin awesome

  • take note kids..! this is what its all about!!

  • What show is this from and is it available on DVD??

  • I love it in Keith's book he says " As soon as Willie gets out of bed he rolls one, me I wait at least 10 minutes."

  • Kellygene55 I couldn't agree more and to DW fuck you thats Hank III have some respect when you're as bad ass as he is you can get away with wearing a misfits shirt on stage with whoever you're playing with. If it wasn't for Hank III and Willie this would have been shit

  • wearing a misfits tee while playing this song with keith richards is totally lame

  • sound Purrty good..

  • the only person i cared about in this video was Hank III

  • @kellygene55 I like hank 111 a LOT but i like Keith more cause the stones are unbeatable.... but we all have our favs

  • That was great! But who was walking on who in the solo?

  • fantastic

  • Keith and Hank 3rd are the biggest outlaw's there :)

  • @imaStonesFan I THINK YOU MEAN IN ROCK N ROLL- DARLING ?? CHEERS SMILELY :))

  • @rstp78 :)

  • @imaStonesFan So, I saw Hank the third in the "Wild and Wonderful Whites of West Virginia" documentary and really, the simple fact that he hangs out with them alone makes him a very scary person.

  • @MrJustBradley hahaha!! lol

  • @imaStonesFan Yes, and Willie? Willie is like 100 and he gets popped with reefer every month.

  • @Amhlair oh i know ,i thought i didn`t even have to mention him cause we all KNOW lol

  • @imaStonesFan Hmmmmm..... Don't know much about Willie, do you?? :-)

  • @Oldguard900 yes willy also but Hank3 has a lot of nerve and has done some crazy things. He`s nuts lol.

  • @imaStonesFan I know we're "arguing" over inches when the guys have all traveled miles... But have any of the other fellas ever smoked dope on the roof of The White House?? LOL! I appreciate all of them.... But if I were forced into a corner and had to make a decision.... Well, Keith is the man!! Take care......

  • willie looks like he inhaled some bio diesel fumes before the show.

  • I'm pretty sure all the smoke in th eroom is from Willy.......I love seeing a bunch of white collar yuppies stand around cheering for a song about the celebration of death. Seems fitting.

  • This song kicks the shit and no mistake

  • Excellent!

  • No B-Bender.... to badd!

  • Keith is The MAN.

  • que grande el viejito, el maldito rey del rock and roll

  • @skidooracer1000 GREAT TUNE especially if you've ever have had a bitch that rode your ass like a Swiss watch runs about the way you lived your life.........then to only see her die first so YOU could swing by and put some DEAD FLOWERS on "HER GRAVE"' on a regular basis. Classic, Classic tune song sung by classic men. Man what it be like to be lucky enough get to be invited on to Willie's bus after the show to share a little 'Ubangy trip weed' and some Maker's Mark on ice. Scrabbytoy-Okla.

  • Here you have the "real deal" of men! They are amazing, all of them! Willie I've had the pleasure of knowing for several years, Keith I've had the pleasure of meeting and both are true gentlemen and amazing muscians as you can see here and as we know them to be. They "live" to play and become alive when they do! Thanks for posting this one! It was one of the best for the occasion!

  • Keef and Willy, original no-shit-outlaws...pretenders and posers, take note,m THIS is who you you aspire to be someday

  • Keef man, Keef

  • hank's mike is too high...Keith's got it right. Hank's hat may be his signature thing...but it is pretty funky.

  • hank's mike is too high...Keith's got it right.

  • I had a friend request this at my ex wife's wedding hahahahahaha

  • so good! loving the misfits t-shirt too!

  • HAIL HAIL HAIL!!!!!

  • damn Hank looks just like Hank

  • Hell YES!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow! Excellent.

  • best bunch of ol' farts on the planet!!

  • @jonDgr8 ol' farts where its at .. todays kids spin records, and wear pants on the ground, lol, give me the ol boys

  • love this song and this production in particular!

    rock on baby!

  • I have watched this so many time-this and the Stones in 72 on "Ladies and Gentleman" both are equally great because of one man.

  • bet they were pretty high lol

  • oh hell yeah this is great....whoo hoo

  • wow wow wow fuckn hank3 keith and willie?? lost highwaymen i like that

  • Jeg elsker dette.

  • It does'nt get much better fellas. What a great song about life. Been there done that. And God bless Gram Parsons.

  • Way too upbeat. This song is not a happy one. The original Stones version is decent, but as far as I'm concerned Townes Van Zandt is the only guy with the gravitas to do this song justice.

  • @somper10 ~ Ever heard the live Steve Earle version?

  • @somper10 WHAT? This is Keith man.

  • i just blew my load

  • Happy Birthday HANK 3

  • And it all started when Gretchen Parsons sent Gram a little gift of flowers that really did die in the mail. Funny song.

  • they need to turn richards' guitar up in the mix. other than that ... was this the best version of this ever?
