I've paid around $700 for letus35 FE but now they have new and improved products. The one designed for camcorders like HV20/30 is Letus35 mini which costs $1100.
Unfortunately I've deleted the HD versions from my computer. I didn't know they've deleted the HD versions I've posted. I will post them to a different site next time.
I got it from amazon. It is Manfrotto 3420 Telephoto Lens support. It is actually for digital cameras but it works fine with my HV20 + Letus35FE combination.
It doesn't matter but you cannot use the auto focus mode.Also you need a different mount on the adapter.If you don't have the lens already and need a lens only for this setup it doesn't make sense to buy a lens with USM because it will be much more expensive.
Letus35FE is $700 including shipping. You will need nikon AI or canon FD lenses. They are pretty cheap around $20-$25. Canon 50mm FD f1.8 is a good and cheap primary. You also need rail support for the setup which is around $60-$70. So you are looking at about $800 to start.

Letus35 is an adapter that screws in front of the camcorder's lens and you mount the 50mm FD lens to the adapter.
