for all you ignorant people about breast feeding, go eat your meals in a bathroom, or with a blanket over your head . is it comfy? no, would you do it for every meal? no. it is like saying hey your face offends me im trying to eat my lunch here please go eat in the bathroom lol it is ridiculous :/ people need to grow up and stop looking if they dont wanna see it .

This chick was probably all obnoxious and self-righteous when asked to stop; And I think women should be able breastfeed their babies(with respect) anywhere. This is the problem though - the argument is always two extremes battling: It's always the tacky dickwad who is overly offended by a woman breastfeeding her baby and has the audacity to ask her to stop, and the other side is always the obnoxious feminist self-righteous douchebag who thinks the world should bend to her breastfeeding needs.

Having sex is a natural and beautiful thing. Should I be doing that in public as well? It's completely normal right?? There is a time and place for everything and in the middle of a Walmart or at a public pool is not one of them. There a kids around who don't understand what is going on and may get the wrong idea. If you feel you need to breastfeed while you are out go to a restroom or a dressing room or somewhere else private. There are places nowadays for you to breastfeed in public privately.

@WindintheCellar Thanks. It's not like I'm against breastfeeding it's just nowadays there are places made for women who breastfeed. Like in the mall near my old house there was a room near where the play area is that has a big comfy chair and a sink and some like baby stuff and a door that shuts and locks. They made it because it's against the mall rules to breastfeed in a public area. And most retail store will let you use there dressing room if you just ask. But thanks for the 95% though lmao

People spit, pee, vaginal discharge, periods, & etc...Telling a mother not to breast feeding in public. Pathetic people. I rather see a mother breast feeding her child. My personal opinion if you don't want to be stared at go into a bathroom or another room. why would anyone need to breastfeed in public??? Why not feed your children home before coming out. "Cuz my baby might cry to eat" uhmmmmm even dr.'s will tell ya When a baby crys don't just throw a bottle or tit in their mouth. I know this is getting the thumb :p

i read somewhere that the lifeguard claimed her breastmilk would contaminate the pool. after they assure you that people's piss, cum, spit, and vaginal discharge wont hurt swimmers cuz of chlorination, they bring up a dumbass argument about the most natural and nutritious fluid for humankind will "contaminate" the pool. got to be a dumbass lifeguard to say something like that.

Our society is incredibly sad and ignorant. Breasts have become such sexual symbols that we've forgotten the true and natural purpose of them which is to feed our babies. It is ok to see naked breasts on TV, movies, magazines etc...but breastfeeding in public is offensive. Wow, ...there is something wrong there.

My opinion is this...It's 2008 & people should not be breastfeeding their kids anymore Unless they live in a country were they can't get Formula (In that case having a baby should be illegal - If you can't afford to feed them) FLAT OUT its disgusting & PRIMAL. Babies only get less than half of what the mother takes in. So Unless you have a super Duper diet (No Hot Pockets Or Chips) then your partially good. Formula has everything a baby needs.
