Mark Lowry was/is also the GVB's best kept secret. He's an incredible baritone. Not as showy as Guy or David, but he can sing toe to toe with either of them and hold his own. In my opinion, this is THE BEST GVB lineup in history, at least to date. I haven't heard the new lineup yet, so I reserve the right to change my mind.

Guy Penrod took a sabbatical from GVB in late 2008 and eventually left the group for a solo career.

The last I heard, his first concert is on

Aug 30, 2009 at Branson, MO.

I highly recommend you view the Youtube: .. "Introducing The Guy Penrod Family" ..

.. to have more insight into his life and character. It will simply give you a deeper appreciation and respect for any song you hear from him :)

I'm so glad you came across Guy Penrod on Youtube. Guy was among the very best in the GVB lineup.

i hear bill!!! i know what you mean i think it blends so good together that you can't hear him well.

he doesn't have a strong bass voice like tim duncan but bill's bass blends almost with everything.
