i love battlefield 3, i've been playing it for 3 months now, never played bfbc2 but i bet i would enjoy it more, it was built more for infantry combat then vehicle combat, i wish they would balance it more is all
Crap, I love and agree with everything you just said. I went to BFBC2 from Halo and I fell in love instantly. Watching your gameplay reminds me that BF3 did away with a lot of the FPS and added a TON of other ways to kill. I constantly have trouble with squadmates not helping me out because they're in a jet, tank, helicopter, or some other vehicle. BFBC2 had a lot of FPS gameplay and just enough vehicle play to spice it up.
Nahh... BF3 for me outclassed everything BC2 did. i think i know what issue you have with BF3, the moment you said MOH frustrated you- lethality.
I'm sorry, but i think the argument that BF3 is less of a shooter and more of a sandbox game is simply a BS argument. i see way more shooting in BF3 than i see in BC2, i actually enjoy the shooting in BF3 more than just about any FPS there is.
your real issue with BF3 as it seems is HIGH LETHALITY, your playstyle is agressive, too agressive- tone down
I think I know what problem you have with BF3 as I also have, it is the "Random deviation" and Supression effect, these 2 things DESTROYS the feeling and skills in CQC battles,
why I like bad company 2 better than bf3: they spent more than a half an hour developing bad company 2. and good ole alan kurtz, aka laziest game developer on the planet refuses to patch anything.
BF3 reminds of MW2. It is a really great game but it just feels so broken. Until dice fixes all of the little issues with it I really can't play BF3 without getting so frustrated to the point that I question why i even own the game. Good to know I'm not the only one feeling like this. I've gone back to playing BC2 and black ops.
I agree that Rush and CQ feel broken. However, I've been loving SDM in BF3. I miss the teamwork and fun of BC2 but I love the balanced FPS of SDM for BF3.
Both are excellent games. I don't see how you can't enjoy BF3 as it is the best shooter on the market by far. It sounds like you are taking it too seriously and not adapting to the fact that BF3 is a very different game to BC2.
to be honest i think bad company 2 was extremely disappointing and battlefield 3 is mediocre. i play 1942 and bf2 more than i play any of them but between the two i like bf 3.
I feel almost exactly the same as you. The only difference is that I still play BF3 some. I just wish they could make a version of Rush and Conquest mode with either no vehicles on only vehicles in the transport category (Humvees, Vodniks, Buggies, etc.) except for the LAV, because it's too much like a tank, making engineer not the only playable class.
BF3 does at times feel like work. I like the variety though of flying one round, run and gun the next, and driving armor another time. One game handling whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment. BFBC2 is not collecting dust by the way.
@marcinpaul1981 I feel like infantry in BF3 is the problem. Vehicles are awesome and they take center stage, which is "true Battlefield" as so many people tell me. I'm just not feeling infantry in BF3 so I don't enjoy it.

In BC2 I felt frustration but in a positive way. Not being able to get through a choke point is maddening but makes you a better player. You learn, adapt, you have control. In BF3, I feel infuriated more than frustrated. You"re getting shot, targeted, locked-on, suppressed, ballistic scoped, lens flared, torch-blinded, MAV'ed... With so much stuff you can't control, it feels more like the fate of a match is in the hands of chance and not skilled players.

The only thing I don't like about BC2 is being raped by circle strafing Helicopters. I love BF3, but In BF3 you get gang raped by Choppers, Jets, tanks, mortars, and APC's.....all at once. Then the score at the end of the game is 300-0
I think you're getting First Person Shooter and Console Shooter confused. BF3 is no good on consoles but on PC it pwns anything out there. Games like CoD & BC are designed for people to pick up and play for 30 - 60 mins and then go do something else which is what consoles are for. BF3 is a PC focused FPS, the play times are longer, battles are more intense and tactical. PC shooters are not games you can play whilst with your mates chilling the experience is best enjoyed with your full attention.
I'm going to disagree with your definition of an FPS, but I find it interesting and applicable. It certainly explains why I prefer the smaller, focused maps over the sprawling, open ones in both BC2 and BF3.
The thing I like about BC2 is that all the classes can defend themselves against any type of assault. You always have options. I especially LOVE the recon class, you can use c4 or mortar to take out vehicles, snipers for close and long range etc. Assault, you can defend yourself with the GL or the underbarrel shotgun and manage against vehicles. In BF3 the recon class is useless. You have no way of defending yourself against a tank and such. They focused on realism and forgot about fun.
My only real issue with BF3 is that it has too many cheap ways to play the game which then caters to all the new CoD type of players playing it. BF3 allows you to be more of an individual so that kid who does nothing but MW2 or 3 or 50 (or whatever number they're on) feels right at home and isn't forced to play with teammates to get any enjoyment out of the game. BC2 was a little more basic by comparison so if you didn't work with your teammates you couldn't have success.
I think it's just that you first BF game was BC2. I've played every game in the franchise and I'm used to the vehicles, as they are extremely important. The Bad Company series is Battlefield simplified for consoles. Still BF3 is far from perfect, I prefer BC2 gun play but I don't like that there's less emphasis on vehicles. Oh and CoD games have more gadgets than BF3 and most of them are useless, I don't fault BF3 in that respect.
Have you tried Infantry only mode? or Team Deathmatch/Squad death/Squad rush? I haven't myself, but it seems like any of those options would 'fix' your issues with the game, at least from what I'm getting from your complaints.
Not to try and get you back into a game you, at the moment dislike, but when you do go back to BF3, after playing games with little to no vehicles, those options might ease you into BF3 a bit better than choosing full out conquest, or even rush.
Props to you for sticking to your opinion, I respect that. You shouldn't be playing a game that you don't enjoy, otherwise what's the point? I agree with you that the game isn't for everyone, I just happen to really love it. Good luck to you in your future videos.
you know what? i know exactly what you mean when you compare BC2 to BF3. I loved how 1 person could win the game for the entire team, the gun mechanisms, AT4 obvi, and the overall feel of BC2. It is still my favorite FPS of all time even though I spend most of my time playing BF3 now. I wish they continue the Bad Company series with the same feel. Cheers mate
I still love you Aethyal but Swords is a fucking cunt brushing off/inspiring his hate for bf3. BF3 is a return to the "sandbox" style of BF2 which gained a lot of success for this type of gameplay. You should just stick to the Bad Company series if you aren't happy with Battlefield.
@aethyal please don't turn into swordsman. Less negative videos are ACTUALLY ENJOYABLE because people are tired of other youtubers bitching about video games. dude i got tired of bf3 also so i didnt play it for a month. When i decided to play it again it had several patches that fixed the problems i had with the game and i can't stop playin it now. Hopefully you'll get the same result. Peace
Cool man. You are entitled to your opinion. BC2 got me hooked on online shooters. I absoloutly loved it. I also love BF3. Everyones into different stuff. You've gotta play what makes you happy :)
@aethyal its sounds as you dont like how more important the role vehicles have on bf3 rather than on bc2. Even with vehicles, bc2 was an infantry game as most of all the others fps.
I find that the people who are "surprised" of bf3 are those who never played bc2 or bf1942/2/2142. Even though i havent heavily played to the "old" games of the series i understood when vets "complained" of bc2. So NOW i understand both vets and bad companiers why they may not like bf3.
First, i like both games and i ve dedicate/d several hours to both. As i see theres a lot of people who expected bf3 to be like a bc3. I feel like its a weird coctel of 2 parts of bf2 and 1 of bc2.
Bc2 as it is was just a spinoff of the series of bf games. So its has little of what a bf is. I think bf3 is way too tactic, in its arcade style of fps, for a lot of people.
I like going rambo and having a "simple" game on bc2.
I like the diversity and "complexity" of things i can do on bf3.
i havent played bf3 but i have bfbc2 on pc and i like it a lot. but i like it because it is more open on what u can do it because it isnt a "fps" in your opinon of one. but "fps" such as call of duty, i like them but they bore me after a while and thats why i like the more open battlefield idea.
BF3 is a fantastic game but hell it needs a lot of fixing. Basic issues like squading up, voip & server improvements aswell as tonnes of other fixes. Game was probably released 6 months too early.
Can I add you on BC2 now? You told me before that you didn't add people other than DCRU. I thought maybe that might have changed now that I've gotten to know you a little bit better.
I think dice tried to hard to be "above and beyond the call" (being better than cod) than focusing on making a good battlefield game that all the true and die hard fans wanted.
I dont get why you think BF is not a FPS anymore or think its a sandbox game, BF games have always been like this they have never changed only thing that changed is the setting. I mean the reason BF is good is because it doesnt try to be like every other FPS out there its different its unique and thats what makes it amazing. And as many has said, Vehicles takes to little damage from an rpg and with one guy repairing the tank they are invincible.
BC2 atleast you could wipe out a team by your self to make your team win, but not in BF3 since as you said they have taken away the fps feeling from the game.
Aethyal I share your opinion. There's so many things wrong with BF3: 4 RPGs needed to destroy a tank, claymores, shotguns with fragammo, and so on. I dont even like the maps, even though the B2K maps are slightly better. BC2 has its flaws, but I love the game. It can be frustrating as well, but not nearly as much as BF3. Like you said, they have overdone the game quite a bit (adding all this bullshit stuff was a mistake).
I think BF3 made a lot of improvements: the graphic, kit balancing, weapons customization... but I found it not fun to play too, and I don't know why. Same for MW3: I bought Mw3 and it's frustrating to play but I know why: the lag compensation is killing me, I can't rush, I loose basically 66% of the gun fights, spawn system is broken.... Now I'm playing COD 4 and I'm enjoying it so much!
I totally agree with you Aethyal. BFBC2 feels like a much more fun game. I am a physically disabled gamer and I have found that BF3 is much more difficult to play than BFBC2 due to the massive amount of keys you need to press.
BF3 is basically a dumbed down war simulator NOT a first person shooter.

My only problems with BF3 is the same problems I had with BC2........
1. NOOOB fucking teams.
2. Mortar/rocket/noob tube spam
3. Lazy fucking snipers.
Most of the guys, who are still playing BC2, have computers that can't play BF3. If you're a decent player with a gaming computer, you should dominate them. BC2 is easy mode now. No disrespect Aethyal (I enjoy your channel along with the other DCRU guys). But, I really think the DCRU is puss'n out on BF3.
@TheDawgwillbite Remember that almost all the DCRU (actually I'm pretty sure all of them) started their Battlefield experiences on BFBC2, as did the majority of Battlefield players. Bad Company 2 really opened the floodgates and a much more active community. So they feel nostaliga to it whereas more long-time vets like BF3 more because it reminds us of BF2, BF1942 & BF2142. So it only makes sense, that's all they knew before BF3.
@TheDawgwillbite Couldn't have agreed more. I'm loving BF3, even more than BC2. It's far more challenging in my opinion. I don't blame the game, I blame the community for being noobs. Jump into random pub server, half your team isn't even in squads, most don't understand spotting and don't PTFO. Then it's very hard to enjoy. So I have fave servers, play with clannies and problem solved. I don't think there is anything wrong with the game, I just don't think BF3 is for you, Aethyal.
I sort of see it like this, an x,y graph that has infantry emphasis vs vehicles on one axis and "arcade" style movement / shooting versus (never say realistic it only leads to flame wars LOL) plausible suspension of disbelief if that makes sense? So you prefer an infantry focus (but not top of the scale from what you say maybe a 3 on a scale of 10 (so 30% vehicle content) and you prefer a more arcade style game dynamic.
@B4ndwidthBandito BTW I dont see any this as a value scale (good vs bad) its just a preference scale and you'll be drawn to games that hit "your" quadrant, i.e arcade style with more infantry than vehicles. Ok I'm thinking about it too much yeah? I'll leave quietly....
BFBC2 is my favorite FPS of all time. Everything you said I believe also. An amazing shooter with some vehicle gameplay as well. I also quit BF3, about a month ago now. The best part about it for me, in the end, was actually Team Deathmatch. I didn't have to rely on anyone else to play and have a good time.

Coming back into gaming from a long lay-off, I didn't play BFBC2 until I was also playing BF3 (bought new gaming rig to replace 6 year old PC). The last FPS I played before this was 1942 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. That said, it has been easy for me to love BF3 because I don't have a recent comparison or any conception on what a modern FPS is. To me, they are all FPS, just different types.
Anyway, I have no plans to unsub, until it becomes a Minecraft only channel :)
I generally agree with you. BFBC2 was a game that for me was more enjoyable to play, and in a way it was also way more fair in wepond balancing ect. I like BF3 but not in the same way as BC2.
The major problem of battlefield 3 is in my opinion the amount of players on PC. I was playing on PC the first three weeks of BF3 and constantly was I being shot from every possible direction, very frustrating. I was sick of it so I tried it on xbox and I am having way more fun on xbox, because of the lower player count. 24 is perfect imo for most maps and I can consistanly do well on xbox. On PC I couldn't hold a 2 KD but on xbox my KD is 3.11 (last time I checked), and I play pretty aggressive
@Bezemkast333 The way to fix this on PC: Search for servers that have less players. I do that all the time and I find plenty of servers like that. I can't stand 64 man maps, they are absolute shit.
Play what you want to man, no one can stop you. All the reasonable subscribers will be staying with you no matter what you play. Looking forward to more bc2 and a lot more minecraft
I see your reasoning. I don't agree with everything,but I get it. Ur really into shooters, and I would have to say BF3 isn't a TRUE shooter. I have figured out my tolerance level with that game, so I know when I can play it and when I can't; but I gotta admit, IDFK how 1: That is your main game that you play the most. I did that, I maybe lasted 2 or 3 weeks with that. 2: I don't think Battlefield compares to LoL, especially after being a level 25 in LoL. IMO, that game is the most rage-inducing.
I see what you're saying. BF3 has undermined the "gun on gun" aspect too much with the other features. I see it like this: BF3 is only proper fun for vehicle oriented people, People like me and you, who like to play as infantry, enjoy it less. People who loved BF2 also love BF3, but people that have only played BC2 have mixed feelings.

@rebeliaGamer I feel like infantry game play in BF3 is an afterthought. Gun play is terrible; recoil, balance, and even aiming feels "off" compared to BC2 where the controls were tight and responsive. Thanks for the advice though, I wish the answer was as simple as that. :(

I like Bc2 cuz the color and sounds don't tear my head into little pieces. The guns sound like farts :3 I like that. BC2 was also my first Battlefield and that's the reason I thought I liked it so much, much I guess I'm not the only one :).
So, basically by sandbox, you mean too much vehicle gameplay. I really don't see that much more vehicle gameplay compared to BC2. You have your big maps with a lot of vehicles, and the small with very few or none. You can play soldier only in BF3 just as well as in BC2, imo. I don't like vehicles much either, but I love playing engi and blowing them up. Plus the rockets are good for entrenched enemies.
@aethyal I started watching your videos waaaay back and love them all congrats dude! I started watching you when i got into bad company 2 and still love playing it and was sad to hear you were stopping bc2 content and going onto bf3. But your return to bad company 2 is a very welcome thing in my opinion! Your right its a great game and I would love to play with you sometime..hit me back if you fancy it....or infact if anyone fancies some bc2 goodness :)
i just dont understand the reasoning. out of all the 1st person shooters you never mentioned BC2 yet you love the game. (i do understand / agree with your reasoning) if BF3 is a sandbox then shouldnt everyone like it bc there is something for everyone ? where is your "something" ? im mainly an infantry person myself so with that being said i enjoy the game thouroughly and dont understand when ppl say its a sandbox that they dont enjoy it. ill be sticking around for your vids

I see what you mean, on bf3 there is allot of tank and other vehicle warfare going on, and less battles from soldier from soldier. Although I still enjoy bf3 because it's different. If I want a heaviy lone wolf FPS, I play mw3, and bf3 is just An alternative as mw3 is a alternative to bf3
@aethyal Bad Company 2 is much more of a shooter agreed. If you started on Battlefield 2 like I did you'd like Battlefield 3 more. There's more depth to it; you may say more uneeded complexity and it works more as a large-scale RTS in First-Person than a First-Person Shooter. In FPS games 1 person can change the tide; not so much in BF3 & BF2. Your movements and the choices of HOW you move forward are more important and that does take away from the First-Peron-ness of it. To each his own.
@KiranStevens This. The way BF3 is put together mean you can actually form up a functional team of people that can get things done, even if they aren't a 1377 headshooting maniac. BF3 draws on so many other things than point and click and by far I find it much better than bc2. The class balance alone says a lot about the game. The maps themselves are so different you can't always just play the same class and be efficient. It's brilliant!
@Stunke I wouldn't say you can't play certain classes on certain maps. You're supposed to be able to play any class and be useful to your team. Being forced to play a certain class would be imbalanced.
@omegaxtrigun Unfortunately I've seen that a bit on BF3. It's perhaps why conosle people like BFBC2 more and PC people like BF2 more. For example I find that almost all the big maps push Engineer and deter Support. Whereas the smaller maps like Op Metro deter Recon and encourage Assault. I have to say that BF3 does have less set-roles for kits. BF2 had strict roles, but in BF3 you can be an agressive recon or a CQC Support.
@omegaxtrigun I think you can play any class you like, but you can't apply the exact same engineer skills on every map, and you can't employ the same recon skills on every map. Some maps lend themselves to a very different PLAYSTYLE for the chosen class, which I like, but I don't think you are forced away from your favorite CLASS at any point though. If people just want to sit on their ass and snipe, then no, you can't do that on every map and still contribute :) That's what I like
@Stunke Yeah and there's more depth and staying power to this type of game too. You can never get tired of it because there's always more to explore. That's why it so influential and every FPS is copying the class-system.
Its definately more tactical and more of a thinking-man's game than say your COD or CS; not that those aren't good.
@KiranStevens Oh. If you play with buddies on a map where the skybox is really high you can post up a MAV at max altitude and guide the team over skype or teamspeak. It really does become a really good RTS.
i fully understand i still play bf3 but its failed me a few times then i go play mw3 like a noob then i go and play bc2 because of all of what you said like no joke
The game has many issues right now to enjoy it as much as i enjoy BC2 , it' s ok to put it down for a while and dedicate your gaming hours to something we all enjoy watching you play like you Minecraft series ;-)

I feel almost exactly the same as you. The only difference is that I still play BF3 some. I just wish they could make a version of Rush and Conquest mode with either no vehicles on only vehicles in the transport category (Humvees, Vodniks, Buggies, etc.) except for the LAV, because it's too much like a tank, making engineer not the only playable class.

BF3 does at times feel like work. I like the variety though of flying one round, run and gun the next, and driving armor another time. One game handling whatever I'm in the mood for at the moment. BFBC2 is not collecting dust by the way.

In BC2 I felt frustration but in a positive way. Not being able to get through a choke point is maddening but makes you a better player. You learn, adapt, you have control. In BF3, I feel infuriated more than frustrated. You"re getting shot, targeted, locked-on, suppressed, ballistic scoped, lens flared, torch-blinded, MAV'ed... With so much stuff you can't control, it feels more like the fate of a match is in the hands of chance and not skilled players.

I think you're getting First Person Shooter and Console Shooter confused. BF3 is no good on consoles but on PC it pwns anything out there. Games like CoD & BC are designed for people to pick up and play for 30 - 60 mins and then go do something else which is what consoles are for. BF3 is a PC focused FPS, the play times are longer, battles are more intense and tactical. PC shooters are not games you can play whilst with your mates chilling the experience is best enjoyed with your full attention.

The thing I like about BC2 is that all the classes can defend themselves against any type of assault. You always have options. I especially LOVE the recon class, you can use c4 or mortar to take out vehicles, snipers for close and long range etc. Assault, you can defend yourself with the GL or the underbarrel shotgun and manage against vehicles. In BF3 the recon class is useless. You have no way of defending yourself against a tank and such. They focused on realism and forgot about fun.

My only real issue with BF3 is that it has too many cheap ways to play the game which then caters to all the new CoD type of players playing it. BF3 allows you to be more of an individual so that kid who does nothing but MW2 or 3 or 50 (or whatever number they're on) feels right at home and isn't forced to play with teammates to get any enjoyment out of the game. BC2 was a little more basic by comparison so if you didn't work with your teammates you couldn't have success.

I think it's just that you first BF game was BC2. I've played every game in the franchise and I'm used to the vehicles, as they are extremely important. The Bad Company series is Battlefield simplified for consoles. Still BF3 is far from perfect, I prefer BC2 gun play but I don't like that there's less emphasis on vehicles. Oh and CoD games have more gadgets than BF3 and most of them are useless, I don't fault BF3 in that respect.

Have you tried Infantry only mode? or Team Deathmatch/Squad death/Squad rush? I haven't myself, but it seems like any of those options would 'fix' your issues with the game, at least from what I'm getting from your complaints.
Not to try and get you back into a game you, at the moment dislike, but when you do go back to BF3, after playing games with little to no vehicles, those options might ease you into BF3 a bit better than choosing full out conquest, or even rush.

@aethyal its sounds as you dont like how more important the role vehicles have on bf3 rather than on bc2. Even with vehicles, bc2 was an infantry game as most of all the others fps.
I find that the people who are "surprised" of bf3 are those who never played bc2 or bf1942/2/2142. Even though i havent heavily played to the "old" games of the series i understood when vets "complained" of bc2. So NOW i understand both vets and bad companiers why they may not like bf3.

First, i like both games and i ve dedicate/d several hours to both. As i see theres a lot of people who expected bf3 to be like a bc3. I feel like its a weird coctel of 2 parts of bf2 and 1 of bc2.
Bc2 as it is was just a spinoff of the series of bf games. So its has little of what a bf is. I think bf3 is way too tactic, in its arcade style of fps, for a lot of people.
I like going rambo and having a "simple" game on bc2.
I like the diversity and "complexity" of things i can do on bf3.

I've already traded BF3 in., but not for quite the same reason you put it aside.
I view BF3 as a 'military sim,' not a shooter.
They took the run and gun FUN out of Battlefield with BF3, and replaced it with 'realism.'
I'm sure on a real battlefield, I'd crawl around on my belly for fear of getting shot- that's not FUN in a game, though.
I hate campers lying around in bushes outside the spawn...back to BC2.

Aethyal I share your opinion. There's so many things wrong with BF3: 4 RPGs needed to destroy a tank, claymores, shotguns with fragammo, and so on. I dont even like the maps, even though the B2K maps are slightly better. BC2 has its flaws, but I love the game. It can be frustrating as well, but not nearly as much as BF3. Like you said, they have overdone the game quite a bit (adding all this bullshit stuff was a mistake).

I think BF3 made a lot of improvements: the graphic, kit balancing, weapons customization... but I found it not fun to play too, and I don't know why. Same for MW3: I bought Mw3 and it's frustrating to play but I know why: the lag compensation is killing me, I can't rush, I loose basically 66% of the gun fights, spawn system is broken.... Now I'm playing COD 4 and I'm enjoying it so much!

I totally agree with you Aethyal. BFBC2 feels like a much more fun game. I am a physically disabled gamer and I have found that BF3 is much more difficult to play than BFBC2 due to the massive amount of keys you need to press.

Most of the guys, who are still playing BC2, have computers that can't play BF3. If you're a decent player with a gaming computer, you should dominate them. BC2 is easy mode now. @TheDawgwillbite Remember that almost all the DCRU (actually I'm pretty sure all of them) started their Battlefield experiences on BFBC2, as did the majority of Battlefield players. Bad Company 2 really opened the floodgates and a much more active community. So they feel nostaliga to it whereas more long-time vets like BF3 more because it reminds us of BF2, BF1942 & BF2142. So it only makes sense, that's all they knew before BF3.

Jump into random pub server, half your team isn't even in squads, most don't understand spotting and don't PTFO. Then it's very hard to enjoy. I sort of see it like this, an x,y graph that has infantry emphasis vs vehicles on one axis and "arcade" style movement / shooting versus (never say realistic it only leads to flame wars LOL) plausible suspension of disbelief if that makes sense? So you prefer an infantry focus (but not top of the scale from what you say maybe a 3 on a scale of 10 (so 30% vehicle content) and you prefer a more arcade style game dynamic.

BFBC2 is my favorite FPS of all time. Everything you said I believe also. An amazing shooter with some vehicle gameplay as well. I also quit BF3, about a month ago now. The best part about it for me, in the end, was actually Team Deathmatch. I didn't have to rely on anyone else to play and have a good time.

Coming back into gaming from a long lay-off, I didn't play BFBC2 until I was also playing BF3 (bought new gaming rig to replace 6 year old PC). The last FPS I played before this was 1942 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein. That said, it has been easy for me to love BF3 because I don't have a recent comparison or any conception on what a modern FPS is. To me, they are all FPS, just different types.
Anyway, I have no plans to unsub, until it becomes a Minecraft only channel :)

The major problem of battlefield 3 is in my opinion the amount of players on PC. I was playing on PC the first three weeks of BF3 and constantly was I being shot from every possible direction, very frustrating. I was sick of it so I tried it on xbox and I am having way more fun on xbox, because of the lower player count. 24 is perfect imo for most maps and I can consistanly do well on xbox. On PC I couldn't hold a 2 KD but on xbox my KD is 3.11 (last time I checked), and I play pretty aggressive

I see your reasoning. I don't agree with everything,but I get it. Ur really into shooters, and I would have to say BF3 isn't a TRUE shooter. I have figured out my tolerance level with that game, so I know when I can play it and when I can't; but I gotta admit, IDFK how 1: That is your main game that you play the most. I did that, I maybe lasted 2 or 3 weeks with that. 2: I don't think Battlefield compares to LoL, especially after being a level 25 in LoL. IMO, that game is the most rage-inducing.

I also like BC2 cuz of the community.its like everyone knew everyone. Every chats. In BC2, 1 of 10 people actually chat. Or reply when you talk to them. BF3 is kinda like moving to a new neighborhood. A new. Silent. Neighborhood.

It's your channel. Make the content you enjoy. I didn't only sub because of battlefield content, but because it was GOOD battlefield content. I also really enjoy your GOOD Minecraft content. Make sure you enjoy making your conten, or the content will suffer. If people don't like what you upload. Who cares. Block'em if the act up. It's your channel, and your hobby. And i do share some of your opinions on BF3. It can be hard to enjoy due to it not being polished enough

I like Bc2 cuz the color and sounds don't tear my head into little pieces. The guns sound like farts :3 I like that. BC2 was also my first Battlefield and that's the reason I thought I liked it so much, much I guess I'm not the only one :).

So, basically by sandbox, you mean too much vehicle gameplay. I really don't see that much more vehicle gameplay compared to BC2. You have your big maps with a lot of vehicles, and the small with very few or none. You can play soldier only in BF3 just as well as in BC2, imo. I don't like vehicles much either, but I love playing engi and blowing them up. Plus the rockets are good for entrenched enemies.

@aethyal I started watching your videos waaaay back and love them all congrats dude! I started watching you when i got into bad company 2 and still love playing it and was sad to hear you were stopping bc2 content and going onto bf3. But your return to bad company 2 is a very welcome thing in my opinion! Your right its a great game and I would love to play with you sometime..hit me back if you fancy it....or infact if anyone fancies some bc2 goodness :)

i just dont understand the reasoning. out of all the 1st person shooters you never mentioned BC2 yet you love the game. (i do understand / agree with your reasoning) if BF3 is a sandbox then shouldnt everyone like it bc there is something for everyone ? where is your "something" ? im mainly an infantry person myself so with that being said i enjoy the game thouroughly and dont understand when ppl say its a sandbox that they dont enjoy it. ill be sticking around for your vids

I think the two games are quite different and I'd enjoy playing both alongside each other but I can never find a full server with a good ping on BC2

I see what you mean, on bf3 there is allot of tank and other vehicle warfare going on, and less battles from soldier from soldier. Although I still enjoy bf3 because it's different. If I want a heaviy lone wolf FPS, I play mw3, and bf3 is just An alternative as mw3 is a alternative to bf3

@aethyal Bad Company 2 is much more of a shooter agreed. If you started on Battlefield 2 like I did you'd like Battlefield 3 more. There's more depth to it; you may say more uneeded complexity and it works more as a large-scale RTS in First-Person than a First-Person Shooter. In FPS games 1 person can change the tide; not so much in BF3 & BF2. Your movements and the choices of HOW you move forward are more important and that does take away from the First-Peron-ness of it. To each his own.

@KiranStevens This. The way BF3 is put together mean you can actually form up a functional team of people that can get things done, even if they aren't a 1377 headshooting maniac. BF3 draws on so many other things than point and click and by far I find it much better than bc2. The class balance alone says a lot about the game. The maps themselves are so different you can't always just play the same class and be efficient. It's brilliant!

@Stunke I wouldn't say you can't play certain classes on certain maps. You're supposed to be able to play any class and be useful to your team. Being forced to play a certain class would be imbalanced.

@omegaxtrigun Unfortunately I've seen that a bit on BF3. It's perhaps why conosle people like BFBC2 more and PC people like BF2 more. For example I find that almost all the big maps push Engineer and deter Support. Whereas the smaller maps like Op Metro deter Recon and encourage Assault. I have to say that BF3 does have less set-roles for kits. BF2 had strict roles, but in BF3 you can be an agressive recon or a CQC Support.

@omegaxtrigun I think you can play any class you like, but you can't apply the exact same engineer skills on every map, and you can't employ the same recon skills on every map. Some maps lend themselves to a very different PLAYSTYLE for the chosen class, which I like, but I don't think you are forced away from your favorite CLASS at any point though. If people just want to sit on their ass and snipe, then no, you can't do that on every map and still contribute :) That's what I like

@Stunke Yeah and there's more depth and staying power to this type of game too. You can never get tired of it because there's always more to explore. That's why it so influential and every FPS is copying the class-system.
Its definately more tactical and more of a thinking-man's game than say your COD or CS; not that those aren't good.

@KiranStevens Oh. If you play with buddies on a map where the skybox is really high you can post up a MAV at max altitude and guide the team over skype or teamspeak. It really does become a really good RTS.

The game has many issues right now to enjoy it as much as i enjoy BC2 , it' s ok to put it down for a while and dedicate your gaming hours to something we all enjoy watching you play like you Minecraft series ;-)

I already had this thought that BFBC2>BF3 for a long time. I think BF3 lacks that fun factor that BC2 has. Just my opinion.
