And oh, in fairness, you know as well as I do that the injuries the Sox suffered last year absolutely killed any chance they had to keep their heads above water. 60% of the rotation was injured, our starting and backup catchers were injured, Manny and Ortiz went down, Crisp had a broken finger all year, Gonzalez went down too, Loretta was playing first base for Christ's sake, and Papelbon was shut down i early September for his shoulder's sake.

LOL My bad. Overreacted when I saw his comment. He's probably a Cubs fan. My Cards pretty much laid down and died at the 2004 WS so it's no wonder they got swept. Your 2006 season sounds exactly like the Cards in 2007. Plague of injuries doomed them throughout the year. At least the Cubs and Yankees are out of the playoffs.
