  • You spelled HEROES wrong, it is H-E-R-O-E-S

  • I love you guys, this is absolutly coolest case....chiper,beautiful and we keep the nature.Thank you so much to share this.

  • It takes a few tries guys, but the fusing really does work. it took me about 4 tries before i got it:P

  • every time i try to fuse plastic, it shrinks down like 4in. and i don't know what to do differently

  • I did this and it worked. I love this idea and I am giving it to my mom and I am also making one for my sister. Dont hate on the video cuz you cant do it. And No im not a tree hugger Im just thrifty and love making things and dont have lots of money for materials.

  • Could you use this idea to make a blanket? The plastic would be really insulating and warm :D

  • Hello ecological project ;)

  • Wow! this is awesome :D

  • :) now all you idiots out there have a little sticker on your laptop lol.

  • Lol at Corinne going crazy at 0:48

  • @TheZernia

Haha! I was noticing that too! She's soo cute! ^_^

  • how did you make that laptop skin? could you give me the link to it?

  • @kmanet713 I think it's just a bunch of stickers, looks cool!

  • I'm having tons of issues with this. Not fusing! :(

  • @xannie531 I had problems with my iron. One minute it wouldn't fuse, the other it would shrink and go horribly wrinkly. Use a high heat and press down hard to get the bubbles out and you should get a strong flat material. I'd advise using twice as many layers too (16) as 8 is quite thin and rips easily.

  • EARTH HEROS ! ! !

  • Comment removed

  • i tried it and it DID NOT WORK. it is a waste of time and don't tell me my iron was too hot or to cold, because i tried EVERY setting on it and it either burned or didn't fuse. THIS PROGECT IS A WASTE OF TIME AND PLASTIC!!!!!!

  • This is waaaayyy to awesome for words

  • I have not made one YET! People it has a sweatshirt on the inside. Even if the bags come apart the laptop will be safe because the sweatshirt is there!!!!

  • @beerman1231000 right back at you bitch

  • @BakuraSR45 o u fucking tree hugers r all the same

  • @beerman1231000 i thought this vid was stupid anyway. i tried to fuse plastic cause i thought it was interesting but it didnt work. this is cool to me because i dont have money to go out and buy fabric

  • @beerman1231000 Oh, you fucking trolls are all the same. None of you seem to be able to spell.

  • @ayuan227 o fuck of go hump a tree u basterd

  • i love you guys and your way of helping the earth

  • I love you, Earth Heros! And I definitely going to try this, maybe for a shopping bag.

Where can you find waxed paper by the way?

  • @LittleBulleteye

you are so retared that you dont know where to get wax paper walmart

  • @kelseysweetydog

That doesn't mean that I'm retarded, we just don't have a Walmart in the Netherlands.

  • @LittleBulleteye SORRY THEN GO TO TARGET

  • @LittleBulleteye get it from the shop down the road

  • @LittleBulleteye It's been a while since you asked so you've probably figured it out by now but just in case... Wax paper is used for cooking, lining your pans and whatnot, so a grocery store should have your wax paper and then of course you can use the bag they send you home with to make this bag!

  • e. in Earth Herooooooos!

  • You know "Heroes" is spelled with an E right?

  • You know "Heroes" is spelled with an E right?

  • @PrincessSLK It's actually acceptable to spell it 'heroes" or "heros" depending on what your reference materials are. That's not surprising either, since the natural progression of language is to make is as letter efficient as possible. :)

  • Nice idea but I would never use an electric iron on a plastic bag! Have you thought of the toxic chemicla that it will evaporate? Is it enough to just opening the window...? I dont think so.

The idea of using old bags is really nice though

  • well you showed me

at the begining i was like stupid idea will never work

but it looks awsome :) if u started selling them people would probably buy them if they all were as cool as that

  • OMG!.. it relli looks good!

  • Disgusting and moronic intro, but awesome video,

  • lovee thattt

  • Dude that's badass

  • i am making on right now, this will work so much better then a normal bag

  • @jimmey303 OMG ME TOO!

  • i just had an idea! these would make REALLY great unique place mats for a table! or you could make little coasters n stuff!

  • i miss you guys

  • Lol I feel sorry for his head in the beginning but great tutorial. Nice concept.

  • Or... you could fricken buy one

  • @MrMacablex the point of this is to make ur own stuff...but nice suggestion! :)

  • Can't you just fuse it all together instead of sowing it? That way it would be more water-resistant, right?

  • @konayasai i think it falls apart after a while

  • @konayasai you could do both, fuse then sew but its stronger and will last longer it its sewed.

  • Love it guys! Thanks!

  • awesome. but i cant hear anyone talking with that music on -.-

  • Thank you *****SO****** much!!!

You guys have discovered a whole new level of awesome. It's like being on the top floor of a sky scraper, and then discovering a whole new level. Good job!

  • @eugenetswong u got that rite lol

  • omg that's so cute!!! and not to mention practical!

  • I LIKE IT, CONGRATULATIONS!

  • i LIKE IT

  • Very cool!! I wanna try this! ^_^

  • lol 0:07 Ginger ale xD idk

  • The laptop bag seems a little big and awkward, but I will deffinately used fused plastic bags to make myself some reusable shopping bags!

  • i don't have a sewing machine and i have a lot of plastic bags so i just fused each of them, and to connect them, i just fused them together

  • so i've tried this with 3 different bags and they all turn out awful! can anyone help?

  • and can you use ziploc style bags?

  • just use the shirt...

and one question, can you do it without sewing like by fusing each sheet thing together?

  • Comment removed

  • tight!

  • Instead of using bobby pins to hold down the fused plastic and sweater, use clothes pins. That's what I use when I sew anything. It's much easier than pinning with those sharp needle pins.

  • I love this idea but i dont think its very safe/ sturdy

  • lol when rob threw the bottle @ the guy's head!! and the case it really cool but it seems too fat and puffy.

  • To much work for me, I'm only 12, so I just bought one.

  • seriously is that fairy xteener cuz they look alike ;PPP

  • SWEEEEEEEEET keep recycleing ... I'd like to see more like this

  • OMG! this looks so cool!!!

  • pretty a'wesome

  • lol golly gee xD

  • Loved it!..thanks Earth hero's

  • That's really fucking cool, but it kind of looks like those UPS shipping envelops :P

  • The crinkly plastic isn't used as much here... is the not so crinkly version of plastic bags (smooth, glossy almost) also ok to do this with?

  • how old are Corinn and him? I watched the old videos and the new ones and they look so different like they matured or something, maybe working out? IDK, I just thought they were older.

  • This is awesome!

  • This is HOT!, Those make spectacular handbags!!!

  • Commercial? Wtf!

  • wont the sewing make punctures in the plastic, causing it to rip?

  • corine looks cute

  • why a Wisconsin sweatshirt

YOU MONSTER WE ARE PROUD AND LOVE OUR PORLY DESIGNED SWEAT SHIRTS AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

  • are you crazy?! i paid 3k for my macbook pro and not kill its finish

  • There is a lining.

  • still dosent make me comfortable ib buy mine

  • This is better for the enviroment. You are reusing what you already have and not sending more money to corprate America.

  • i might make mine in this case but issue is i dont have a old jacket

  • ok then. go to a thrift store. :-)

  • but i need to get a gap for my bricvk and cables

  • Okay, so I've been looking for a counfiter (Like for your bed) and haven't been able to find one, could you do a video making one please?

  • i am gonna try this but only make a cool ipod classic case im pretty sure the same rules apply just smaller measures right ?

  • Question, for the Threadbanger ppl or anyone whose fused plastic successfully before: do bags made of thicker plastic work? Not as in hard plastic but I dunno if its the same in the US, bags you get at clothing stores etc? If so, are there any extra measures or steps I need to take when working with the thicker plastic? Also, if fusing an image (eg smiley) onto plastic, how many layers does it need to be fused on, still the 8 with the image as 9th layer? or should the image be the 8th layer?

  • Yes you can fuse the thicker plastic and i think you can just fold it onece but I have never tried that kind before.

And yes the imge is the 9th layer. :-) Hope I helped!

  • looks like a mail parcel

  • so can u use the same technique for a mesanger bag?

  • 301sagonaraku yes u can i even made a christmas stocking!! :)

  • what a great idea! You guys are amazing..

  • WOW you are amazingggggggggggggggg

  • wow thats actually pretty cool

  • An artist told me that the melting plastic bags omit toxic fumes

  • My cousin and I just spent the entire afternoon trying to fuse the plastic bags. We couldn't make anything work! We tried all kinds of different ways, and nothing. I think its just a huge waist of time. Nice concept though.

  • will the plastic make the needle break or something?

  • BRILLIANT!

  • nice make world greanner ^^

  • Can you REUSE the wax paper???

  • do you have to have liner????

  • "Huh? Don't worry be happy."

    Kept lolling.

  • how did you know ther under my sink?!? AHHHH!

  • mine go in the cabenit under the microwave xD

  • i'm trying it right now but when i do i get holes in my plastic...how do i keep that from happening????

  • Comment removed

  • i love the beginning lol xD

  • I am so trying that.

  • Can you reuse the wax paper?

  • If you'd pay attention: @ 2:40 - 2:50 you can clearly see he's using the same wax paper pieces over again. @ 4:36 - 4:43 The girl explains what happens to the wax paper when you're finished with it.

    Enjoy.

  • They came to my school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i must say, that`s pretty gosh darn awesome!

  • so cool...i must try this

  • This was good. I might make a few for my friend.

  • Question: Do you have to use new wax paper every time you fuse a plastic bag?

  • no you can also use regulay bond paper but wax is the best

  • this i sreally cool!!! imma try it no doubt!

  • I just made a belt out of old wal-mart bags and a buckle! it took me a few times to fuse the bags but it worked! i love it!

  • do you have pics of it, or a video showing how to make one? i would love to see it.

  • If I had plain bags could you print out a picture to put inside the plastic before you fuse? Would this work or just make a mess

    ~thankyou xx

  • if Miss Heather Bunny could put feathers in you could use paper too. I would live at least a 1/2 inch area around the paper where the plastic can fuse.

    hope this helps

  • Don't the plastic bags creates electrostatic charge and ruins the electronic inside the laptop?

  • Qiqidh:

I didn't think that plastic bags conducted that much static... plastic is an insulator, you know.

Plus, the inner shell from the sweatshirt should protect the laptop.

  • You spelled "heroes" wrong.

  • skip the first minute, trust me

  • oh c'mon, i love their corny skits! ::D

  • I love your skits! As cheesy as they are, they always had some awesome flair to the show.

  • should u wait for the plastic to cool off before taking off the wax paper?

  • my fave threadbanger episode :)

  • thanks a lot..

  • i use plastic bags as condoms

  • You must be Hitchcocks' cousin, Flatcock, right ?

  • you know it :)

  • hahahaha brilliant!

  • again, i did this in art :-P

  • Wow, I allways wanted a way to melt plastick bags together without them burning and fuming, I didn't think it was possible! I think I will make something with this techinique now.

  • Hilarious. Prob my favorite episode.

  • you can also make PLARN! plastic yarn! its so cool and you can crochet with it to many reusable bags and things...

  • woahh, kewl! i didnt knw tht. can you make a video tutorial?

  • OMG! thank you so much! i needed one really bad!

  • earth heros that weer leather that was once a toutchered animal yea!!!

get on and help us all!

  • though by doing this releases toxins into the air, it also gives you a craft to use up the rest of the plastic bags that are lying around the house. you could make a grocery bag out of it and just stick to that. i created one (grocery bag) for that purpose. i don't use this trick all the time b/c it is bad for our environment. i do it when i feel that it's necessary.

  • Does it work with baking paper ? like t shirt transferring ?

  • They should use parchment paper instead of wax paper. The wax melts on the iron and ruins it.

  • i used parchment paper to fuse hot topic bags

  • Man, I miss your videos like this!

  • this is copyied from makemagazine!!

  • the method has been around for years

make mag made a messenger bag where as threadbanger just made a laptopcase...

    not really copying

  • I think we are living in the days where crazy people are on the internet.

  • Isn't heating plastic, especially the soft, low-quality plastic used in shopping bags dangerous? Heating plastic releases toxic fumes, plus makes the plastic itself more toxic. The only way to "save the earth" involving plastic bags is to not use them!

  • Holy crap! this is awesome! I gonna make one for my fathers burthday ^^

    Thxxx and good job!

  • That is one of the coolest things that Threadbanger's made in a long time. Too bad I dont have any plastic grocery bags. Mmmm.. do you guys think I could use the heavy plastic bags that you get when you register at comic book conventions?
