Hey Vincani or anyone else. Do you know what's the move called where you're in a 12 step position but one of your leg is up in the air while the other foot is dragging on the floor, while moving in a semi-circular motion? Sorry If I'm not clear on explaining it.

Haha thanks Dayz. In the public eye bboying is more known as breakdancing. Of course this is the 4th element of hip hop which is bboying however the title says how to Breakdance because that is just a more common term. If u talk to anyone that lived back when bboying first started they didn't have a name for it and would just say let me see u get down or go off. The term bboying came later in the underground as well as breakdancing from the media.

@VincaniTV idk if its bcuz of the area or not but im from toronto and we call those reverse dead-leg wht we call sweeps are when from toprock u jump into a hook or when ur doing mini swips

@asdfg7325 Hmm yeah every area kind of has its own terms for moves. When I was learning we didn't have any terms for the moves so we just kinda called it the 1st thing we could think of. Later on when I started meeting older dancers I learned and adapted their terminology, so that why I use what I do today. But thanks for sharing this because its nice to know.
