Can someone PLEASE help?

There is a film about the Vitenam war (i think) in which a load of US soldiers are kept as POWs..... i recall one of them being nailed to a cross outside the prison boundries.

The camp general is a really evil little shit and at the end they get their own back on him, they practically drown him in a water butt or something.

Someone please help me find this film, its making me insane!
