I don't think he is a Sir (as in the formal British honorific title). But, to be fair, I don't know why. He is, beyond any doubt, a great artist, and he is so British in his writing and in his use of words that I can't understand why he has not been awarded this honour yet.

Maybe you need to have been involved in a few scandals to get it? Who knows? :P

Saw Mark sing this in concert at the Tower in Philadelphia in 2002 with my uncle. I'll never forget it. One of the few songs that I could hear over and over and it never lost its luster. Thanks Mark and band for an unbelievable experience.
