My lovebird is around 8weeks.

He's tame, but after sitting on my hand for 10mins he becomes like a devil that bites rlly hard.

How can i learn him not to bite me so hard ? :( It's annoying plz help me :(

haha love this! My bird lives with my parents because there's not a lot of room at my place for him to be active, and when I call my mom, she puts me on speaker phone too so my bird can hear my voice :) He never forgets me! <3

Hey, I've seen lovebirds here on YouTube that actually do a little bit of speaking. Have you had any of your lovebirds speak? I know it isn't as common as other parrots but if you have had any speak, what did they say and how old were they when they started?

I feel so bad, every time i leave the room birdie starts to squeek and at times chirp until i return, is he/she depressed. Once we do let birdie out non stop chirping, in the cage he flaps his wings, what kinda of behavior is this, last month all month he slept and this month is hiper chirps, is it because of winter:<

Yup, mine is all over the phone...for some reason, he is all over it when my father in law calls. funny nonetheless....

It takes lots of time and patience to raise these little guys and gals to be this tame and loving....but the dividend is an amazing little lovebug that follows you everywhere in the house.

I unfortunately lost my female to cancer about a year ago, and still have her mate. I'm getting two new birds to breed in about 2 days.

No, he just did it. It's hard to believe, but BeBe does a lot of things on camera sometimes that amaze me!! For example, in his temper tantrum video, he knocks down his dowel perch for the first time, and since then, he has never done that again! You can teach them to do that though.
