@daapz the actual dogs bread(if that is what you are talking about) is Newfoundland Dog they were bread here in Newfoundland we call them Newfies for short, if your calling them canadian then your wrong regardless of where you are..lol, no worries though we dont care we know the truth.

My newf is afraid if wood floors and shiny tile, but not the car. As soon as we open the door he is in ready for the next adventure.

I have to pull the car out of the garage however because the floor in the garage is shiny - Go figure, but they are amazing

I doubt that a newf would hurt smaller dogs. Mine atleats plays just fine with a Bichon Frise.

Gaia seems to love cars, no matter how small car that is. Her favorite ride still seems to be my van, as the back compartment has A/C, tinted windows and lots of space to wander around while we're on the road.

She never passes an opporturnity to get in a car, no matter how small car it is. Ours is fortunately big enough for two newfies :)
