  • If I killed a family of nine including two children by blowing up their house I would be tried for murder, imprisoned and maybe executed.

    If I was the leader of an organisation and ordered my members to bomb a house killing nine innocents including two children, was caught and tried I would be imprisoned or executed.

    Why when Obama, Sarkosy & Cameron do the same thing and they kill innocents by ordering airstrikes are they exempt from this simple justice??

  • @auriculi Because laws like this at the societal level help maintain a country's steady existence. Presidents and military men (you can be one if you want to get away with what you described) in Western countries especially, are very militarily active and are ordered to do such things to advance their power.   • This war has been in the planning stages for decades, Gerald. People thousands of years ago talked about a war that would bring about billions of deaths. It would be great if us "commoners" could come together, stand united and put a halt to the plans of those in the shadows..... but I don't think it's possible.
