The Tajiks were here way before the Assyrian Captivations of the Children of Israel (Beni Israelite Pashtuns). Khorasan was part of the Ancient Iranian People (stretching from Fars towards Samarkand). Also, Iranian peoples were from p.d. Iran to China (Uyghurs of China - Tocharistanis are Iranian). This was as long as Cyrus the Great and before that the Persians roamed all of these lands.
