@MrFootball150 because they're not mass produced. Meaning they are not made by robots but made by hand and manual labor is costly.

eBay turbochargers are a different story though. They're only around for $600 because they are mass produced in China but have a shorter lifespan.

I have 2 turbo Camaro's, 1 turbo mustang and 1 turbo bike. They all are simple to get to, 20 mins is all that's needed, The 5 hour installation he mentioned is pretty far off.
