@ZeroZenZep When the video loads, I get an ad that talks about that Solyndra nonsense...it's right wing Fox news crap. Take it to red state. Doesn't belong on a youtube video for Barber. Ruins the video.
@jasonnewyork1 Well I'm shocked being, against my will, associated in any way with political views I don't share. And I also feels sorry you could not enjoy Barber's music which has, as you said it, absolutely nothing to do with right-wing politics.
@ZeroZenZep Got it. It's just one of those "cue the dark and eerie music" kind of propaganda ads that get people riled up. I'm sure there's a way for you to opt out of those types of ads in your youtube account somewhere or send them an email asking how to avoid that crap.
@jasonnewyork1 Obama has failed america. He came offering vast phony promises, he has not fufilled a single one. And the blind, left wing, dorks of this world won't admit it.
@francie760 The point is not to be pro or anti Obama. The point is that this is Barber. This is classical music. This has nothing to do with politics. We come here to escape that nonsense. But you just keep getting riled up in every venue you can there Francie.
This is such a beautiful concerto , and one of my favorites. The changing themes truly take you on a emotional journey. The passion is incredible, as the music changes in mood starting joyful, then you can feel the panic ,changing to triumphant, then to such a peaceful finish. It just fills my soul up.
Bless Barber, such a wonderfully American composer, such a wonderfully American piece of music. I can usually hold back the tears until those final 30 seconds, when that clarinet comes in. So hard to regain composure for the second movement!
Anti-Obama ads on a video for classical music? Really? sigh.
