the sad thing is, in this country they made a bigger deal about Aliyah dying than Melanie. I mean La Bouche had big hits in the US just as much as overseas, yet we heard very little if not anything about Melanie's death. I do realize it was just after 9/11, but still the news about Aliyah's death was all over. Both singers were talented, but to not recognize one's death over the other is sad.
