I am not familiar about P2. Is that possible to capture HD video from P2 to single hard drive without droping frames? Do I still need a RAID configuration?
well yes - if you wanted to completely ignore the file based aspect of P2, you could play the P2 card contents out using a Panasonic card reader - and then capture that baseband HDSDI stream in to Media Composer. RAID is for your protection - so you have to choose your answer there. as far a single drive goes - sure what resolution? DNx36??
