Employers ARE required by law that this adminstration supports to seek out minorities just to fill racial quotas, and why, to make up for the wrongs of the past that I had nothing to do with! I am a peaceful man. I don't believe in violence of any kind. I protest using my vote. I will never, ever vote for the Democratic party as long as they continue to support this racist policy that denies me employment just beause I do not fill a government mandated racial quota. Ifts hard to get a job when employers are only looking to hire people based on their race and gender and not what should matter-their qualifications for that job. Maybe someday the Supreme court will act to end it.

John F Kennedy said often that a person's race, religion, national origin, creed, age are not relevant.Kennedy also said that he didn't want the talents of any American to go to waste, like mine are right now because of Affirmative Action. It is a racist policy, to be sure, its government stantioned reverse discrimination, thats why it should be repealed. it isn't fair or needed or very smart either. two wrongs do not make a right.

Im not any more advantaged by anyone else and in fact, since employers have a requirement by law to hire a certain amount of minoriites, whether they are qualified or not, they have more advantage than me, and thats not fair, so its not a positive thing to deny someone a jon opportunity who worked hard for it just because they do fill a racial or gender quota. What good is it to an employer to hire someone who isn't qualified for that job?

Two wrongs DO NOT make a right. If there is anyone who should be punished for the wrongs of the past, it should be the people who did those things in the past. Before JFK signed the EO there was racial discrimination during employment. AA was signed into action to get rid of racial discrimination that prevented minorities from obtaining & keeping jobs.
A question you can pose is whether we STILL need AA. To answer that you must first answer the question, is racial discrimination gone? Can we completely erase it?

Perhaps welfare could be reformed to remove the obvious abusers...but removing all opportunity from parts of society that would benefit from such things as affirmative action and welfare only creates a bigger divide from the rich and the poor. And makes for an unproductive less competitive society compared to the rest of the world.
An educated society has less crime and it takes decades 2 achieve.

@xpez yes along those lines one may argue AA benefits society in that it gives otherwise discriminated minorities jobs so they won't have to rely on welfare which can be a financial drain in society. To put it in a logical sequence:
elliminate AA -->, decrease job opportunities for disenfranchised minorities--> increase in demand for
welfare reliance ---> increase in taxation by the govt to meet demands.
Thus eliminate AA ---> increase in taxes.
BTW I am NOT a product of AA okay?

I do not think that this was the time or the place for such political bashing. Is this what our next election is going to be like? I would like to think that the Office of the Presidency would show more decorum. This became such a big joke that I have no faith in either side and hope that someone steps forward that can show that they are capable of being an adult and know how to handle themselves in the public eye.
