Every you make vid about music from this era,I always learn something. I thought Decca stopped recording after the 50's. I also thought they only recorded Gospel and Jazz artists! Thanks for this it's always good to see other's hat appreciate real that from that era besides our parents! God bless you man!
Well, you'll be surprised to know that Decca is still around now!!! I forget at the moment who's recording for them, but their under the Universal Motown umbrella!!! I'm so glad you enjoyed & leared something from this video, thanks so much!!!
The decade was a mess and the music kept us grounded ........I was in school in rural Pa. and the closest radio station was only on from dawn to dusk ..we missed alot of air time back in those days so there were only a few of those songs that I remember ....but the quality was there ..with the limited technology available .......Glad you were able to get these up and out for the younger viewers ....and us old heads great vid man ...stay blessed
Yes that was my whole point for the younger people to understand & hear what REAL music sounded like!!! Now back in the day, the quality of the music was so great, that you didn't have to look hard for something you like, mostly everything was good!!! Glad you liked the vid & I enjoyed that little story you shared with me!!!
ah man-why did u do this to us!!! luv it bruh!!! and Ortheia Barnes still lives in the D and she still sings-mostly gospel today. what u think about HR 848 man? it's causing a big problem in the D!!!
Yeah, I knew she was still living there doing Gospel now!!! I don't know anything about HR 848, I'll look it up & tell you then dude!!! Glad you enjoyed the video!!!
Professor Kev, GREAT JOB as usual! You definitely opened my eyes to music I never heard, and like someone else stated, my parents might enjoy this. Yes, the 60's were indeed a tense period, but everyone can agree that the music helped to ease the pain!
Mos def Sean, and see, we are both MUSIC LOVERS, not MUSIC FANS like everybody else out there today is, so we are open to hearing music that's generally unknown!!! Please show this to your parents so they can go back in time too!!! Knew you would enjoy this dude!!!
I had to speed this up some cuz whooooo yo video was LONG.... but soe of these gems I had NO idea were even 60s song. they seem so new to hear again....
Wow, now you know what I do with your vids, I thought I was the only one!!! LMAO No real talk, that's why I can't do a lot of today's music, cause they're just carbon copies of stuff that's already been done & way better too!!!
Great Video Dude...Love the Fact that you give us a little history lesson about each era you have done and as I said before you always stay consistant!!! Keep me kumin!
LOL you really do love the 60's. That's the real reason why you dream the way you do. If they had a time machine, would you go back? If so, then you really would enjoy LOST ha!
LOL actually, I really love the 70's more, but going back in time for me is NEVER a question & I would bring my VCR & TV with me to record all those TV shows that are lost to the ages now!!! And I still wouldn't like Lost either!!! LOL
I might share this video with my parents!!! They would love it..but they probably don't even know what youtube is..lol this is the music that I would always hear in the car on my way to grandma's house..thanks so much for posting! :-) Instant favorite!!

I sent my brother to your page today..not sure if he would leave a comment..but I highly recommended your page to him today..he likes old school music
Another great video w/amazing songs! Thanks for the music education for us young'ns who won't have many classic artists to show for the 2000's. There's still hope I guess! lol :)
Wow, I'm so glad you could get into this vid, cause this is like prehistoric music for the younger crowd today!!! LOL This just proves that good music NEVER dies!!! I'm still holding out hope for good music for the 2000's right along with you!!!
The 60's has been "overlooked" a lot lately. You are a master of nostalgia! You are knowledgeable, passionate & entertaining as hell. I can tell this was a labor of love!!! This got me so happy! My day is always enhanced by your vids!!
Oh Uncle Calvin, once I see your comment on my vids, it's officially complete, no one else has to leave one!!! LOL You were one of the people I had in mind while making this vid, real talk!!! I knew you were gonna love this one, and I'm so glad I didn't disappoint!!! And yes, hoola-hoops are fun!!! LOL
Thanks for being you dude. And it's not the hoola-hoops themselves so much as it is the muscles they help you develop! LMAO and then there is that lateral hip movement! *grin*

I like when you do these videos i went and bought a brown stone song cuz of you i never heard them till you said something went on itunes and downloaded there biggest hit
Oh that's what's up, they were a force to be reckoned with back in the 90's!!! They sounded like a mass choir & it was only 3 of them!!! Glad you enjoy my music vids dude!!!
OMG!! lol, i havent heard alot of these songs in a LONG time! My aunt use to play theses records (records literally) when i was younger!! This vid really brought the 60's out!! Great Job Thru!!!
